Keep Or Skip? What franchises should continue to next gen?

This question is in the PS4 Hype thread but I'm creating a different topic because I actually want some feedback. I'd like to know what game franchises or series you want to see perish with this gen or continued with the next gen.

My Keep list.

Uncharted

Resistance Reboot (something set in the future. "Nathan Hale isn't actually dead but his body was taken by the Chimaera and frozen in a fortress in space. He wakes up an shit hits the fan") something like that. A reboot.

Something of the Heavenly Sword Universe. Maybe Kai as the main character in a sequel or something.

I want a StarHawk or Warhawk like title from Incognito.

I want something of the God of War sort, but seriously drop Kratos and let's start afresh with a new character.

Keep Motorstorm

Make something of the MAG/SOCOM genre.

A Bayonetta exclusive title will send the Lemmings burning with jealousy definitely.

They're already making a MGS4

I'll add more when I think of them.

Drop God of War, Ratchet and Clank (Send this franchise to the Vita), Drop bombs on the other consoles.

The Last of Us should continue.

None. Kill all the shitty cash cows and get creative.

Drop assassins creed.

Keep all of them.

Keep: Forza, NFS, Battlefield, Pokemon, Fallout, GTA

Get rid of: COD, MGS, The Last of Us, Splinter Cell

Assassin's Creed, Uncharted, Fable and God of War should each have a finale on next gen hardware. Then that's enough.

More XCOM, Deus Ex, Max Payne, Advance Wars, Alan Wake, Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Valkyria Chronicles, Crackdown, Just Cause, Persona, GTA.

Stop Dead Space, Gears of War, Call of Duty, stop yearly releases altogether ( in favour of every other year), perhaps let Sonic perish while he still maintains a shred of dignity.

That doesn't make any sense.

I'd skip most of them. The only thing I would suggest is to take universes that are worth expanding on and start new story arcs.

Mass Effect and the GTA universe for example. Don't want to see Nathan Drake still carrying on at the expense of new stuff.

You clearly didnt think that post through. Every console is guilty of milking successful franchises. Every single one. PS and Nintendo are just as guilty.

The only franchise I would keep is fallout. I want new IP's.

Keep: Uncharted, Last Of Us, GTA, Mass Effect, Bioshock.

Drop: Devil May Cry, MGS, Tomb Raider, Resistance, CoD, Battlefield.

I think COD needs to drastically change things up if it's going to continue to survive
