I would think it's a joke.. while at the same time not.... as someone said.. dress up sims are a serious business in japan.. a lot of them get turned on by dress up simulators.. just imagine a Final Fantasy one. Though at the same time it's bound to be kind of obvious that it's not.. so i wouldn't be surprised by either or.

Even as a joke I don't think this was far from the truth. Toriyama's sole purpose in life has always been to kill the Final Fantasy franchise. Even Kitase and Sakagushi jokingly called him weird and a pervert in an old interview about FFVII because of his weird ideas about Cloud wearing Tifa's panties and shit.

And I don't complain about seeing women in skimpy outfits, it's just that his games are shit. FF13 showed lots of promise but he simply couldn't realize it with his limited vision. And it's clear when you see how bigger of a turd FF13-2 was compared to FF13 and now FF13-3 looking even worse. Cheesy as **** in totally the wrong way. FF13 saga are nothing but a bunch of mediocre wanna be games.

I miss the old FF games. I loved how pretentious and corny they were. They tried so hard to make it deep and shocking with their ridiculous sudden plot twists and stuff. I want FF back. ;(

Vivi, Terra, Tidus, Celes, Cloud... Those were great characters with great background stories and plot twists. One wanting to commit suicide after the end of the world, other was only a ghost, an artificial doll, multiple personalities, half-breed summon, etc.
