Well it's nice to see solid Wii U numbers. I'm glad Captain Toad is seeing some sales in Japan. Maybe it'll end up selling 250k globally? A quarter million in sales would be solid I think.

Damn 3DS is unstoppable.

Its good to see Nintendo do well in its home base. Like how MS is doing great in their home base. Isn't Sony based out of Europe?

Looks like Japan is running with the new 3DS as the gaming gift item of the year. Cool and all, but sad to see consoles sliding away like they are.

3DS selling a lot more than the New 3DS. Not gonna lie... I'm confused.

But the New 3DS is selling more than the 3DS. It topped the chart even at number 1.

The XL version sold more. But in terms of regular 3DS vs regular 3DS, the old version won. By a lot.

Actually, scrap that. If people are looking to upgrade, they'll go for the N3DS LL/XL (I have one - it's awesome!). Whereas if people are just looking to buy something that can play Pokemon for the lowest price, they'll pick the original 3DS.

I don't see a huge market for the New 3DS (standard) just yet, even with the replaceable face plates. Maybe that will change once exclusive games start coming out.

All consoles are down there. Its just a sign of the region. PS4 console sales are always low there too.

Good question. I personally think consoles are pretty much dead there. Handhelds are king, but I do expect Smash to give a bump in sales, but even with it, the PS4 isn't that far behind in sales and that's weird. I mean I was expecting more than a 9k difference, weren't you? Maybe next weeks will have a larger spread since the game will have been out longer.

Wait a week or two. The difference between the WiiU and the ps4 will be 30K+ and maybe even 100K+ in a few weeks in terms of weekly sales/
