Excellent campaign with revolutionary multiplayer. It also nails movement down better than any FPS I know. Also, game modes are an interesting twist on traditional modes. What do you think,SW is there a better one the last 10 years?

lolno
Overwatch, Doom, Battlefield 1, Rainbow Six Siege all shit on it and that's just from the past year.

Really all it has that is outstanding.
As for the answer lolnope.
the online MP is some of the best I've played in an FPS all gen
regardless of it being "the best" for whomever, still a pretty effing tight game
I definitely enjoyed the story from the campaign, sci-FI stuff like that is always a big plus for me. I think I prefer the first game as far as the online is concerned, but I will admit I've not played TF2 online sufficiently yet to be 100% sure of that, but its my initial impression.

I agree. But the fact that I play gears 4, halo 5, uncharted survival mp makes me not play titnfall 2 mp much. I did enjoy the campaign a lot.
Killzone shadow fall.
get the **** out of these forums and never come back.
delete your account now bruh.
Shadow Fall wasnt even a Killzone game, it was some shitty spin-off with lame story and gameplay and even worse multiplayer.
Titanfall 2 was a solid 8/10 for me. I didnt understand the hype and praise it got when it released.
I felt it was good, but nothing great about it at all. Felt pretty standard.

I LOLd. It's such a weak, sleeping pill, isn't it? I've tried to finish the campaign so many times.
Titanfall 2 will be my next game once I've had my fill of Fallout 4. Unfortunately, I haven't had my fill yet.
No. far from it.
Doom, Metro redux, and soon to be Prey are better games. Doom is best FPS of last 10 years and better than any FPS of 10 years that is not Stalker Soc.
Titanfall 2 has good SP and shitty MP. but its SP is just as good as COD1 and MOHAA. average at best. game.
Not even the best Titanfall game.
there are 2 titanfall games. one was incomplete beta testing sold at full price. other is complete game with SP.
SP is the reason titanfall 2 is praised. remove SP and it would be nowhear near praised.
its kinda sad respawn create a good SP game. but EA forced them to shorten more and focus on shitty MP and advertise it as MP game. the result is it become commercial faliure.

I'm not disagreeing with that, but a sp is a one and done that you play and move on from. Multiplayer you can actually come back to and play not only for months on end, but keep coming back to over the course of the year, if not years. And in the case of Titanfall 2 while they made significant refinements to the movements, they messed up pretty fundamental things about the core mp experience that makes it weaker than the original. And no good campaign tied to a mostly okay multiplayer game, is going to overrule a genuinely good mp game.
It's only a "beta" because you're a fraud.
@jg4xchamp:
I haven't played Titanfall 2 (or 1) but what are the elements of the multiplayer you feel they messed up?

Turning titans into heroes seems like a superfluous and if anything regressive decision. heroes are just classes, classes matter in a game built around team synergy. Like Team Fotress, Overwatch, Rainbow Six Siege. A more mobile CoD with mechs to me might actually work better when you can customize your own Titan to fit your own ideal playstyle.
The maps became a bit more 3-lane based as opposed to being better built around paths for pilots through wall run chains. The idea being because they needed to compensate for people who would also have the grappling hook.
Reapers and such can actually do a decent enough job ripping through a Titan's health if not addressed.
A stationary turret being a fucking burn card: fucking why?
No battery/shield system for Titans
The fact that rodeoing a Titan requires you to grab a battery first. Which realistically creates the following scenario: I let my titan get the Rodeo treatment, I kill said pilot who took my battery (read my batter, from MY titan who did not have a shield), and as a result of me grabbing my batter and going back into my Titan, I get the bonus of a shield. Mother fucker wut? You run more of a risk of helping the Titan if you go in for the Rodeo treatment.
Individually those would be nagging issues, on an otherwise good multiplayer game, and I'd still concede it's a good multiplayer game. But Titanfall wasn't like some super deep/super competitive mp game, it was like a better Call of Duty, which is like the bare minimum a mp game can be while still being good. So a bunch of those nagging issues add up to a mp experience that isn't consistently as enjoyable as the one in 2014. And in 2014 it had the benefit of going up against a broken version of Halo and shitty ass Destiny.
In 2016? I've played Halo 5 (good fucking game), Splatoon (good fucking game), Rainbow Six Siege (good fucking game), Battlefield 1 (good fucking game), and Overwatch (good fucking game). On top of being good, they also have more to offer in terms of gameplay depth to boot.
@jg4xchamp:
I wasn't much a fan of Destiny either.
Admittedly, I've only played Overwatch and Battlefield 1 from the remainder of the list. As I haven't played Titanfall, I can't draw comparisons to them. Though I did prefer Overwatch over BF1 so that would be my pick in this case. BF1 just has a number of design decisions I'm not too enthused by.
What's with these threads lately.
Solid no on this one.
Doom
Bioshock
Cod 4 and warfare 2
Battlefield Bad company 1 and 2
Overwatch
Just off the top of my head. Plenty more exist I'm sure.
I'm really not getting the "mp is shitty" argument here. I'm fairly confident those people have not put in significant time into the MP.

you are wrong my friend. titanfall 2 is first and foremost SP game. if EA advertise is SP game like COD1 and MOHAA advertise for SP games. it would not be commercial faliure.
people believe titanfall 2 as MP focus because first game was MP only that is it was just a beta testing but they sold it at full price.
titanfall 2 is one complete game and 10000 times better than original game. i just wish campaign size would be as double.
I'm really not getting the "mp is shitty" argument here. I'm fairly confident those people have not put in significant time into the MP.
Ah the age ol strawmen, they simply didn't play enough, that's why they think the mp is worse. Nope, have about 20 or so hours in the multiplayer. It just isn't worth writing home about.
@jg4xchamp: it's funny watching all these scrubs who didn't play the glorious first Titanfall act like they have any clue what the f*** they're actually talking about.
Well you know a 4 hour campaign (admittedly good), suddenly translates into being more worthy of 60 bucks. Because now we have "context" for the multiplayer. Because you know that's what stopped Quake 3, Unreal Tournament and Tribes from being awesome games in their heyday. The lack of a single player.
Gamers, forever shit.
