Is there any reason to buy a 360 in '09 for '09 games?

Apparently, TC thinks you are only allowed to play the games released in the same year you bought the console.

Must be crazy to think someone buying the 360 in 09+ isn't going to try out Halo 3, GeOW/2, etc

With Killzone 2, Gran Turismo 5, Uncharted 2, God of War 3, Twisted Metal, White Knight Chronicles, Heavy Rain plus a price cut in the future of PS 3 no ones going to be looking at the old games in xbox

yes there are many reasons why to get a 360... apart from some interesting titles already announced coming out in 2009, I believe MS will have a couple more announcements to do and dont forget the already great games library 360 offers...

Lets be mature for once and admit that all consoles have some great upcoming titles coming out in 2009... (PC & handhelds too)

Well let me put it this way - there's more reasons to buy a PS3 this year than there are to buy an Xbox 360, but if you already have a PS3 and have enough spare cash for an Xbox 360 go for it (there's quite a few good old games on the Xbox 360 that are good fun)... king_bobo

Sorry but i am only buying 3-4 PS3 games in 2009 and about 25+ on 360

There are vastly more reasons to buy a 360 in 2009 than buy a PS3 for me, especially RPG, strategy and adventure games

PS3 biggest RPG in 2009 is White Knight, which is the lowest scoring JRPG in Japan by far, by both the press and users and one of the most generic and MMO like RPG's i have seen myself

No , that's perfectly true .. untill MS announce some games at E3 the 09 line up for the PS3 is way way better than the 360.

but i think we'll have to see how everythnig looks in a few months time as MS would be foolish to have nothing held back as big realeases for the year end.
