Not so much GTA4 bashers as it is SOny Bashers. Those numbers, while great, are also considerably lower than the 360 sells, so they automatically become crap sells, atleast with some hardcore lems.

It didn't sell as much as something else, therefore its bad on SW. Just like how PS3 and Xbox 200k a month is widely successful because its not as much as a Wii, fanboys call it failure.

Seriously, after reading the NPD reactions, people act like GTA 4 selling 442k on PS3 is a bad thing. those are good numbers. Its not as good as the 360s (800 something k) but its still good none the less. Atleast its selling well. But no, since it didnt outsell teh 360 version, Fanboy logic dictates it as a failure. I mean, its the same great game adn it looks and runs the same. We can chalk it up to the larger Install base, not the fact that 360 version is teh better version. And before people use the genuin SW etiquete of spouting Damage control every chance you get like a muppet, elt me stop you right there. im jsut kind dumbfounded that people think the GTA 4 sales on PS3 are bad, when in fact there quit good. Both versions have sold well over a million world wide .

Ur right, performance wise, both are the same. But the 360 version performed better in sales. Now with all aspects of both versions equal, with 360's sales edge, that does make it better in one regard.
