Is PS3 the absolute KING of short, linear rents ?

All its games are short, 7 hour short titles, with repeatitve gameplay, like Uncharted 1-2-3, Killozone 2-3, Resistance 1-2, GOW3, MGS4, Heavy Rain etcetc

So, is PS3 KING in games that are made to be good rents like the above?

It also has nothing like Fable 3 or Alan Wake, with huge open levels

im pretty sure MGS4 takes more than 7 hours to finish, even with skipping all the cutscenes. And Infamous, and a crapload of multiplats have "huge open levels"

Anyway, to feed the troll, no its not the king of short linear rents, the PS3 has plenty of lenghty games worth the purchase. I'm led to believe that GT5 can take quite a long time to finish.

Anyway i highly suggest you get a PS3, play/rent those games and then maybe you'll be able to form an opinion and post it here... for now considering 360 is your only console, suggest you just discuss on 360 games..

Btw you already know how long the campaigns in Uncharted3 & KZ3 are? impressive !!

To be honest though, GOW3 has little to no replay value, even though it's awesome, I'm not all that excited playing it again with a different costume.

I only own a 360 and it sounds like you've perfectly desccribed that system's library for the past 2 years

Fable 3 is good but Valkyria chronicles is better. What else does 360 have?

Isnt it funny that you listed so many ps3 games and just 2 360 games? Uncharted 2 has a terrific MP if Uncharted 2 is there, put gears of war 1 2 3 as well.

Killzone 2 was great as well, resistance too, gow3 can be rented though, MGS4 has a 20 hour campaign the first time you play and MGO is pretty good too.

Heavy rain can be rented.

It took me 16 hours to beat MGS4 and there is replay value.
