Is it Possible that Nintendo dies out this Gen?

Say Wii U stop selling and people are like im never buying another nintendo console

and than people say I don't even use the 3d on my 3ds im never buying another nintendo handheld

if nobody own's there new systems they can't buy their games for the systems and than there games don't sell and consoles dont sell so they go out of business

and than they might try to make a new gimmick but nobody likes it and it just dies out and they have no money and the studio's aren't good enuff to make games on ps4/xbox1 so cuz they've been making games on old technology so there games wouldn't even be good

what if someone wanted to play the 3ds games but they were missing an eye from a bizarre schmelting accident?

with only one eye it is not possible to perceive 3d but it is still possible to enjoy the games.

also the 2ds exists.

umm like a lot of people turn it off hence the 2ds, plus if you still have a normal ds you cant pick up 3ds games whereas a 3ds/xl/2ds will give full access to said games and the existing ds library.

yes but the DS lite is much less clunky if ur playing ds games on a 3ds your doing it wrong the ds lite is where you wanted to playing those games at not on a clunky big thing where u have slide off the 3d

I have my doubts Nintendo will Die out, they have a pretty huge Cash reserve, and unlike Sony or MS, Nintendo only needs to focus on games, they ahve no other areas which also takes up alot of Money.

I think Nintendo might have to make something like 10 consoles in a row to be even considered close to extinction. And since the 3ds is doing fairly well, it alone might make up for the Wii U.

So, the fact that it's on track to become a high-selling handheld, with a fantastic library, means nothing?

Do you understand what "on track" means? It means, they are heading in the right direction. As it is, the term "fantastic" is arbitrary, but i'd say the 3DS is well on the way.

Now, what point do you have regarding the sales of the 3Ds?

it's still early to judge the 3DS lineup completely. But the 3DS lineup isn't fantastic and very far from being fantastic is okay though.

No, they'll have a tough gen trying to compete with the PS4 and Xbone. At least their handheld is doing well. They just need to plan out Next gen a lot better

Unless Nintendo pulls out a SONY style come back, its hard to see them going forward to 9th gen.

I relized that yes there is a fanbase of just people who want to play MarioZelda and those others long time Nintendo franshise, but its hard to imagine that fanbase still going strong after 8th gen.

Wouldn't that be the same for any company? If customers said "I don't like ______ about this console. I'm never buying from this company again,", then any company would go out.
