Is Halo still relevant?

I haven't purchased halo 4 yet but after halo reach, and bungie's absence, I really think think the franchise will come to an end during the upcoming gen. Is halo the Mario of Microsoft and will never go away or will it perish under games like cod and battlefield?

The single player probably is still relevant but halo 4' mp at launch was just plain terrible.

The single player had the worst storyline in the series. Just give up, man. Halo is done. :lol: Lemmings: bu...bu...bu... Microsoft had the most hype :cry: It's not fair!!! :cry:

It only became irrelevant because ODST was barely an expansion to Halo 3 and Halo Reach wasn't that great.

Halo 4 has proved that the series still has a place among modern games and is still one of if not the best console exclusive FPS series and is most definitely the best exclusive series on the Xbox and Xbox 360.
