Super Mario was not that big of a launch title. Most of it's impact was only in NA. MS is focusing more on one region.

Soul Calibur was the shit! Forza is more niche than the rest of the great launch games plus it has the whole lack of content problem so I'd say no it won't be remembered as a classic. In fact it will be forgotten as soon as Forza 6 drops in 2015*

Zelda twilight princess for the wii was a launch exclusive. Right? I know it came to Gamecube, but that was after the Wii launch.

And no it's not, Twilight Princess, Condemned and ZombiU (yes it really is good) are all better in my eyes. As good as Forza looks it's still the 5th game in a series so it won't feel like something fresh and new (or be a fantastic game like TP was).

On GS one can use any score you want, it's only for the metagame where we have to use GS scores.

I would rank it as one of the top launch games in the last few gens, but not the best. Halo and Smash Bros. Melee take the cake of the best launch games in the last couple gens. Forza 5 though is a very strong launch title and basically is carrying the XONE along with Killer Instinct. Ryse had potential, but looks to be it has too many flaws. personally I think I'm still gonna give it a go because every time I see it I still want to play it even after the bad press. But Forza 5 is the reason I'm picking up a One at launch. Without Forza, it would just be me and my PS4/Wii-U for a while.
