[QUOTE="TheDidact"]Metro is grey and generic. Halo is vibrant, open, and beautiful with imaginative worlds, not just some boring and grey Post Apocalyptic environment that has been done to death. Russian devs are so unoriginal, they release the same game every time and people like you lap it up.SNIPER4321
yeah russians are unoriginal what western/americans are making?? same old modern war shooter that has MP focus or generic fat space marine....

Except Halo isn't a modern war shooter. Plus it's better than Dishonored. You said it yourself months ago that the best games are rated in the 80s on MC and anything in the 90s is praised by the corrupt mainstream media. Dishonored is at 91 so that means it's a sh1t corrupt game praised by the mainstream media and Halo 4 is great. People like you need to stop falling for that mainstream media crap by buying games like Dishonored.

I probably should've played the whole thing on normal instead of switching to it at the very end. The additional guards makes it like walking through a minefield, where the mines move around and blow up if you're within their detection range of 1907 meters for longer than a split second. Perhaps then I would've been able to get to the Hitman levels quicker and not wasted as much time getting frustrated by the many a to b stealth levels and many stealth sections within the Hitman levels.

Might be a good stealth game. It's a fundamentally poor Hitman game.

Well, I made this place interesting by expressing my opinions and trying to get in debates, no matter if people think I'm stupid, same thing applies to others too. Don't just sit back and be boring.

That's why I like ShadowMoses, JohnnyCage and ispeakfact. They sometimes have extreme opinions and they are perfectly acceptable, and these guys really encourages debate. This is what makes SW alive.

Being boring is not welcome here.

  • Hitman Absolution looks better than any other game released this year.
  • It has the best presentation (the main menu is absolutely fantastic).
  • It has the best animations.
  • It has the best CGI (seriously, it looks on par or better than Halo 4's).

Master_ShakeXXX

1. Far Cry 3 looks better by far. The bloom and saturation is ridiculous. It is definitely one of the best-looking games of 2012 but its artstyle holds it back.

2. WHO THE F*CK CARES?!

3. Nonsense. Max Payne 3 and Assassin's Creed III have far better animations. Hitman feels floaty and clumsy.

4. You are delusional to even believe this.

Master_ShakeXXX

That's a lie. It's become more focused, and it's better because of that. The game is so challenging and rewarding now. You can't just throw on a disguise and run around as much as you so choose.

Have you played Silent Assassin or Blood Money? Anyone who has played the previous games will agree that Absolution has far less choice and variety in mission design than previous Hitman games. It's entirely accurate to call it the Splinter Cell Conviction of the Hitman series.

A ridiculous assumption, simply due to the fact that Absolution is one of the most hardcore and challenging stealth games released this gen. It's casual only on two settings. It has three difficulty settings dedicated entirely to being a true stealth experience.

It's casualized in comparison to Blood Money. Doesn't mean it's a bad game, but it's really not debatable.

Nay. I'd like to though. I loved the more open levels in Absolution which is apparently what Blood Money consisted entirely of, so I'd like to play it. But I also really liked the more linear "sneaking" missions in Absolution. I don't consider them a downfall like so many others do. Trying to sneak around all those cops was intense.

I can't imagine Blood Money being any more challenging. I'm playing on hard difficulty right now with the hints turned off and the game is absolutely crushing me (granted I'm trying to do perfect undetected runs). I still have two whole higher difficulties to play through :?

It's not so ridiculous when you realize the game eschews the classic Hitman gameplay so well-established in Silent Assassin and Blood Money in favor of cover-based stealth gameplay. The series was never about pure stealth: it was all about enormous variety and freedom in level design and multiple ways to complete objectives. I really don't care how the game is as a stealth game. It's probably decent, but it's still the dark horse of the series much like Conviction was for Splinter Cell.

This is different though. Conviction was just a dumbed down, or if you prefer, casualised version of the previous Splinter Cell games. It was the same concept but made more accessible in an attempt to welcome more players to the franchise. Absolution is nothing like that. The developers simply wanted to make changes and create a different type of game. It is different from previous Hitman games, but it's not more accessible. If anything, based on what I've heard from fans, it's less accessible. People need to stop equating change to casualization because that's not always the case. Whether or not they're good changes is a different argument.

Had to make three edits. F*ck glitchspot.

A ridiculous assumption, simply due to the fact that Absolution is one of the most hardcore and challenging stealth games released this gen. It's casual only on two settings. It has three difficulty settings dedicated entirely to being a true stealth experience.

Codename 47, and I honestly didn't care for it.
