Ok now I want you all to listen to me very carefully here because I'm the only one who is going to tell you the truth. The media aint gonna tell the truth, gamers online sure as hell aint gonna tell ya, but IM gonna tell ya. Hitman Absolution is the best game of the year. Why you might ask? Well I'm gonna break this down for you with charts, bulletpoints, and other such professional techniques in order to present to you a well put together and strong objective argument for why you can bet on the Hitman. First...

Production Value

(film, performing arts)Plural form ofproduction value; the combined technicalqualities of the methods, materials, orstage craft skills used in the production of amotion picture or artistic performance.)

Production value, believe it or not, is one of the biggest defining elements of a true GOTY worthy candidate. In order for it to be considered it's gotta look good, sound good, move good, perform good etc. It's gotta be able to capture the voter's attention like any good performer. This is where Hitman shines above all else in the year 2012. Allow me to lay it out for you with a bulletpoint diagram I have constructed:

  • Hitman Absolution looks better than any other game released this year.
  • It has the best presentation (the main menu is absolutely fantastic).
  • It has the best animations.
  • It has the best CGI (seriously, it looks on par or better than Halo 4's).

Ok moving on to the next important category.

Gameplay

[gemple]

(Electronics& Computer Science / Computer Science) the plot of a computer or video game or the way that it is played

This is the area where Hitman shines most. This game is all about class you see. You don't go running around shooting at people, making a bunch of noise and leaving a mess. That's just pointless savagry and is done to death by shallow games such as Halo 4 and Far Cry 3 (or if you prefer, Skyrim: Shooty Edition). Hitman is a thinking man's game. A classy thinking man's game for gentlemen. It's all about wearing a classy suit, taking your enemies out in silent and classy ways, thinking ahead like an educated man. Senseless brutality is not a method that will get you through this game. You must use wits, and class. People, we just don't see games like this anymore. Games hat are not afraid to punish you time and time again for being a dumbass. To demonstrate what I'm talking about, I've gone through the trouble of creating my very own statistical graph to help you better understand and perhaps, take a little of this information to heart. Observe as I show you the difference between ass, and class.

85050256.png

As you can see, based on the chart I have presented to you, you can surmise that Hitman is indeed a higher level of game, not only in challenge and intelligence, but also in class and wits. Hitman is a thinking man's game. So hopefully now that you have witnessed the presentation I have presented to you, you can better understand the options this year, which game is the best, and why the other games don't deserve as much attention or love.

No way. Compare the way how 47 moves to the way Ezicio Altair Connor Mcwhatthef*ck his name is. 47 clearly moves more realistically.

That's a lie. It's become more focused, and it's better because of that. The game is so challenging and rewarding now. You can't just throw on a disguise and run around as much as you so choose.

It isn't the Best game of the year for me but definitly the best Hitman game, They finally got rid of the Clunky interface for doing things like picking people up, Changing Disguises, etc, the disguise system works better than ever, you can clearly see if your weapons are hidden or not, they have vastly improved the weapon selection interface, Improved th graphics and Level design and the introduction of the 'instict' sytem means that you no longer spend hours figuring out how to kill someone 'accidently' All in all this is the best Hitman to date After Blood Money, the only let down for me was the slighly Cheesy storyline.

Not exactly proof that you've played. One would only need to go into a thread that discusses the campaign to see the disdain that level has with the fans.

Halo games are made for those who are not good at FPS or just start playing FPS. its so basic games and has basic gameplay, no freedom, creavity, exploration etc etc. and masterchief is superhero who save humans from aliens and make kids happy. it even has anime. no FPS has anime but Halo

It has as much freedom as a game like metro has, as much or more exploration as metro and probably as much or more creativity. I get the feeling you're not going to respond to this, or will post something irrelevant.

did i mention metro? and Metro probably has more creavity. halo gameplay is so basic.

Obviously you didn't (there's the irrelevant post I mentioned), you praise games like metro which is a linear shooter (just like Halo) but much less open. Halo allows people to play split screen, or with up to 4 players in co-op, that alone allows for more creativity. My friends can grab a warthog and charge at the enemy head on, while I stand back sniping, we can all grab jet packs and attack from above, using high rocks. We can all just attack from the ground without vehicles, there are many possibilities and opportunities for creativity in Halo and that's just the single player, the multiplayer allows for all kinds of creative game types. Now please do explain how that isn't creative. The gameplay is basic, so is the gameplay in a game such as crysis, most shooters don't have particularly complex shooting, it just takes time to master it, like most shooters.

Metro is grey and generic. Halo is vibrant, open, and beautiful with imaginative worlds, not just some boring and grey Post Apocalyptic environment that has been done to death. Russian devs are so unoriginal, they release the same game every time and people like you lap it up.

[QUOTE="soulitane"]The gameplay is basicSNIPER4321

WTF did i just read? LOL!! Crysis gamepay is so much different and complext unless you are talking about crysis 2.

How exactly is it complex? There are a few options you can can choose, the core gameplay isn't complex. You have 4 different suit options mixed with shooting and some environment interactions. It does have more layers than Halo but it's nothing on the level of say ARMA II. I can play crysis with having general knowledge of FPS games, it can be picked up and played, just like most shooters. Sure it has more options than other shooters but in terms of complexity, it isn't all there. The game is fun and looks great, the gameplay is great, but it's not hard to get the hang of the gameplay, it again comes under the simple gameplay but you can go deeper and it's harder to master.

You also didn't give me a rebutal to the rest of my post, I assume you agree with me then.
