The game is almost perfect, awesome gameplay, very appealing gfx, decent story, all the powers are unique, diverse and balanced and sometimes completely unexpected, Kudos to SP for figuring out such ideas and luckily the world is constructed to enable you to use all of the powers to their full potential. The game is he pure definition of fun. Unfortunatetly the game is too short, I found it very strange that most reviewer didn't comment on that. After the final boss, I was like " I can't wait till the plot twist is revealed and I can try out this amazing new power on the streets" but the credits rolled and that was it.

I can't forgive SP for doing this to me, the game is roughly half as long as the old Infamous games.

What do you think Infamous gamers?

Thought it was the same old same old at this point. The city was like a lifeless take on Seattle, the gameplay is the same repetitive slog that the previous games got by their third island, except this time from the get go, and plot was just as dumb as it always is. Admittedly the main character is better, but as a game it suffers from typical open world shit. Specifically like the previous 2 infamous games the mechanics are very good, but the overall gameplay is let down by the same dull and stale missions over and over again. Franchise just lacks any sense of variety.

Take the excellent cat and mouse combat and Reggie the GOAT and then hand the game to a better developer. That game could be marvelous.

The game was fun for a bit, got repetitive and stale really fast. As one poster said, neon power was the only good one.

I hated how they gimped the concrete power too, why couldnt i do all the cool stuff the enemies could?

And the world was lifeless, like an amusement park that you are stuck in. I wanted to do an evil playthrough but i just couldnt bear it.

Good launch window game though

Dead City, Repetitive Missions, and Lame Protagonist IMO. Infamous 1 and 2 were better.

The perfect way to describe it. Had it been later in the PS4's life, this game would have been much better. As it stands, it was easily one of if not the best title to launch with the PS4.

I am really astonished with your responses guys. The game is amazing, the missions may be repititve but utilizing the powers were fun as hell every single time.

Nah i think the game was long enough. To make a game longer with just copy paste same things all over the map dont feel that fun

You just got your PS4 and Im assuming the game as well. We all felt like that in the beginning.

Give it another 2-3 hours, it will start to wear on you when you figure out the games pattern.

The game is basically 1 act........replicated for every power you get.

You do the same thing........in every district...........in every section...........on every island/area.

You seem to be in the smoke/early neon phase.

The game was amazing during that time

All about discovery, powering up. Then you get that cool new power and it the cracks start showing.

Well, luckily I still have to play Infamous 1&2, before I ever get to this game. Which means the game will have come down in price by then.

I don't like paying 60-70 euros for short games.

I really enjoyed it, but then I've not played the previous InFamous games so I had no expectations coming in.

Yeah, it's a small-scale open-world but compared to games like Black Flag, Second Son has just the right amount if content that you can finish it all before it wears out its welcome. As a full price release I could see why some people might be burned, but as a fun weekend at a budget price it's a pretty decent, if not particularly remarkable, little game.

I absolutely loved Infamous:SS, albeit only for a little over a week because that's how long it took for me to platinum it. In my opinion, it's the best exclusive on the PS4 by a long shot but that's not really saying much. I liked it better than the previous two Infamous titles, it just needed to be about three times bigger and it would have been something really special.

I just finished the game. And I agree on the repeatitvness nanture of the game, but it all fun. basically all games are the same, they all get repetitive after awhile, as long as the game is fun, it's ok.

I liked it, especially the graphics and gameplay. Unfortunatly its very repetitive and the story is weak. Neverthless i beat it twice and got platinum.

If I get a PS4, I'll definitely cop it. The actions looks exciting IMO.

Tho the comments about its repetition are a bit off putting. Repetition turned a promising idea in Assassin's Creed into such shit.

Its much, much worse than Assassins Creed in terms of being repetitive and stale.

Imagine if the world of Assassins Creed was set in Steelport of Saints Row 3......yea

So far after a few hours in, I miss Cole and his electric powers. Its not a bad game just the formula itself got stale I think it just needs a major overhaul if they are gonna continue making the series.

The game is very mediocre, I even enjoyed Watchdogs more.

The city is lifeless, the story dumb and its way too repetitive. Sucker Punch need to give up, the first one was garbage, the second decent and now we're back to near garbage again. Its a pretty game, I'll give them that.

I wouldn't listen to the idiot who is trying to tell you how repetitive and boring it is because he has been a long time MS nut and Sony hater. Remember opinions are like assholes.

I played the game having never played an Infamous game and it was great, actually one of the best open world superhero games i've played. The repetitive argument is incredibly stupid because there are tons of ways to play the game and use your powers, it's only repetitive if you aren't intelligent enough to use what the game offers, that's not the game's fault.

If you are on the fence about Infamous SS. I would say try First Light, it's only $15 and *because of Infamous SS* I also tried and beat that and it was also a great amount of content and good addition to story though I would honestly say you should play SS first.

Really liked it... Enjoyed each of the powers, good sense of progression and repayable... Something open world games don't offer me.

But,

It's short, I think Delsin is kind of lame. I dislike the writing in his character and found his one liners grading.

Overall a must play if you're a ps4 owner.

No, i luckily don't have the obligation to foam at the mouth over games just because they're exclusive to a platform.

Infamous would fall even flatter on its face were it not PS exclusive, and everyone knows it. It has about as much worth as Prototype

Nope. Even flatter assumes it fell at all, which it didn't. Again, you = shit taste.

You seen what the game had to offer within the first hour... an empty sandbox with very little variety.... the only good part were the graphics..... everything else was as shallow as a puddle.
