Lol, he always seemed like to weird type to start messaging people on here. He tries so hard to be "right" and for people to see the same way he does I almost feel bad for him.

Just finished the good ending. Amazing game. Now to be a dick.

i just started playing the evil side. much more fun in my opinion.

Man, I found myself getting into the game more. Last night I bumped into a woman and she said "Why don't you watch where you're going?" and I used the R1 Smoke attack on her and like killed three other people around her. I just blurted out "Why don't you watch your mouth cunt?"

It's fun being the bad guy sometimes lol

I can't help but think the Lem meltdowns in this thread alone are probably responsible for selling a few copies of inFamous if not some PS4s.

The guy was trying to give impressions on the game like he actually knows what it's like to play it. It's unbelievable.

uh no, i invited you back because there was a good discussion going on in here about the passed couple days. did you even read the last couple pages or did you just post the screenshot O_o? so i invited a few of you back in to weigh in on it. MrPMedia, and Lundy back in to get involved in it. because you seemed to have some strong feelings about it all. i invited you specifically because you ran and hid big time after i responded to your last post to me lol.

nothing wrong with getting it out and discussed and your point across.

wow...has this thread moved at all really since my last post? it seems completely dead in here now. about 10 messages since i posted hours ago? O_o

#2264 Edited by tymeservesfate (1494 posts) -

HOLY SHIT...i just read the rest of the last page...the butt hurt and damage control is still in full force in here LOL. the thread was dead except for the same few users who were so upset before still crying and whining about me. yikes....you guys, uh...wow LOL. please keep this sticky up.

i guess the game doesnt matter anymore...just these guys trying to make themselves feel justified for being hysterical crybabies the last 2 days lol. go ahead boys...make yourselves feel better. smh lol

As a young budding psychologist @Desmonic it's classic denial. But for SW case this sums up what he's saying.

denial how O_o?

really? trying to pretend all the sudden there's redemption here is unique thinking to say the least lol. me inviting 3 users back into the thread to discuss it after other people chimed in with their opinions is somehow your redemption here? you acting like hysterical brats for the passed few days somehow makes sense to you, and people, now because of that, that's a hellavah spin. i'll say that much lol. besides, i saw a few of you who were already in the discussion trying to doubletalk yourselves into a brighter light. but a guy posts my invite to him to come back and chime in himself makes things all better now somehow? now you feel comfortable trying "tease" me again after being humbled yesterday about it, right? lol, the only people buying that are the whiners who melted down yesterday with you lol.

have fun pretending clear minds didnt see your guys massive damage control attempt, smh lol. and goodluck, with you're "teasing". it didnt work the first time, but maybe this next time...nah.

one thing about cows, with last gen, and how this gen seems to be going with Sony's financial woes, n games...cows are insecure and tender today. and lems seem to be taking advantage lol.

they're trying to save face. instead of getting in the discussion where they would need to face up to things they're trying to tease instead.

this thread isn't about Infamous anymore. i'm the only one that has tried talking about the game for 3-4 pages lol.

yup...here's another one smh. they seem to feel the same way about the game too. pretty, but gameplay wise it has a lot to be desired. he basically said what i said in those other threads...that its basically a carbon copy of the last two Infamous games when it comes to gameplay. just the same, shallow and repetitive.which is still a little surprising to me. with how they guarded all the information about this game before launch i was hoping that they were hiding for a reason. hiding something that was going to make the game actually matter.

Just because I can:

http://www.gameinformer.com/games/infamous_second_son/b/playstation4/archive/2014/03/20/a-new-direction-and-thirst-for-power.aspx

Combat encounters tied to open world activities are also repetitive, consisting of moderately-sized DUP legions, a handful of drug dealers, and just a few cops. There aren't many curveballs thrown in these encounters, and there a lot of them. Conflicts tied to story missions don't run into the same problems, as they continually dish out new enemy types, varying conditions (such as limited power sources or dense fog), and the enemies don't hold back from giving Delsin a run for his money.

I like the way that Infamous Second Son splinters off from the first two entries in the series. Delsin’s conduit ability creates uncertainty in the gameplay mechanics, and the choices he makes apply similar levels of ambiguity to the narrative arc. I never really grasped what was coming next from this tale, outside of knowing that the open world activities and encounters would be repeated ad nauseam.

http://www.giantbomb.com/reviews/infamous-second-son-review/1900-635/

The powers at your disposal are pretty recognizable if you've played previous games in the series, even if the power sources are different. You'll still shoot bolts from your fists, you can briefly hover and glide, toss grenade-like attacks, and so on. The properties of your powers make those attacks a little different, though. You'll start out with smoke-based power and get the ability to toss grenades that cause nearby enemies to start coughing, leaving them open and letting you quickly deal with them. You'll also get a heavy projectile attack with each of the powers, and this is useful for taking out helicopters, APCs, and heavy troopers. While you'll start with smoke, you'll eventually encounter bosses and earn the ability to use additional power sources. You can suck energy out of the various power sources around the city, so hopping up to the rooftops and finding chimneys is a great way to replenish your smoke abilities, and so on. You can only have one power source active at a time, and you switch between them by siphoning off of the different power sources. It's an effective way to switch things around, but it makes the progression a little bland since you'll rarely want to switch back to an older power source once you get something new, especially once you've invested some blast shards--which are strewn about the world and easily marked on the map--to make your abilities a little easier to use. If you collect all the shards, you'll have exactly enough to purchase every upgrade, save for the ones that get locked out due to your alignment.

http://www.egmnow.com/articles/reviews/egm-review-infamous-second-son/

Second Son follows more in the footsteps of the original inFAMOUS than it does the sequel in that it sets the stage for a new hero, Delsin, to take the spotlight and change the world for good or for ill depending on how he chooses to use his newfound powers. But to avoid treading on territory already covered, Sucker Punch foregoes the standard origin-story structure in favor of something more personal to their new protagonist. As such, Delsin’s adventure, while incorporating familiar gameplay from previous iterations, manages to expand upon them in a way that feels not only natural but still fresh.

http://www.joystiq.com/2014/03/20/infamous-second-son-review-thank-you-for-smoking/

Second Son is polished and refined enough to make previous series entries feel dated in comparison. It represents a great leap forward both in terms of gameplay and in graphical fidelity, and establishes a high standard for what players can expect from the PlayStation 4.

http://www.destructoid.com/review-infamous-second-son-271871.phtml

Combat is simplistic but it works like a charm, allowing Delsin to take command of both melee and ranged attacks, as well as modifications of both styles like stun grenades, rocket launcher-type ammo, super area-of-effect attacks, ground smashes, and more. His main weapon is a literally a chain caked in fire (haha, Kratos), which gets the job done. It helps that you get the majority of Delsin's flame powers within the first hour of the game, which really ups the pacing considerably. You'll eventually gain control of three distinct powers in all though, which can be switched at will by "sucking up" the appropriate source in the open world.

Delsin controls wonderfully for the most part, and Sucker Punch has even incorporated the Touch Pad on the DualShock 4 into some actions, including both regular old press motions and some swipes. Other than a set of jarring motion-controlled spray-can minigames (which are mostly optional), I have no real complaints with Second Son's near-flawless execution.

http://www.gametrailers.com/reviews/p5cokx/infamous--second-son-review

Fans of previous inFamous games will certainly feel comfortable controlling Second Son, but Delsin's new moves aren't simply a palette-swap for Cole's lightning. For one, the cover system has been done away with. Mobility is now your primary defense. Since you're no longer cowering behind barricades, you feel more like a super-hero, and you can quickly dash to reposition, run up walls to deal with snipers, or high tail it to a power source to recharge your health. Likewise, traversing the environment is simpler and faster as powers quickly launch you to the rooftops, mostly eliminating the need for tedious climbing.

http://uk.ign.com/articles/2014/03/20/infamous-second-son-review

Skill trees offer more options than previous Infamous games, allowing you to either concentrating on one power or split your resources between multiple paths, and the unlockable powers differ based on your moral alignment as well. An evil neon user for instance, can make targets explode into novas of pure energy, causing chain reactions that can obliterate groups of civilians in seconds, while a benevolent neon user can slow time to a crawl to carefully incapacitate foes one by one with a series of exacting attacks. Not only does this variety keep combat fresh, but it creates a strong incentive to replay and experiment with different combinations.

----------------------------------

Therefore these opinions (you know from people who actually played the game) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> your crappy opinion.

Stop crying already. Or just keep acting like a delusional idiot (who hasn't even touched the game) and entertain us with that gloriously epic meltdown of yours. It's your choice really! :D
