In 5 years there will be a new console. PS4 and XB1 are not meant to last 8 years like this gen. These are Modified off the shelf parts that neither Sony or Microsoft are not spending huge capital to create.

It will be pretty much the same res as the Ps4. They both have around the same memory and bandwidth.

In 5 years Sony's gaming division will be a thing of the past. Get um while ya can.

PC's are already pushing 2k and will be pushing 4k by then so the ps4 will be fine at 1080
