Not really. It's definitely on the short list.

This is a big reason ICO and Shadow of The Colossus collection is being remade in HD3D for the PS3.

Is Ico as good cos I missed out on that, but loved SOTC im buying the collection anyway for HD and trophies but is Ico in the same league

That list order was so weird... I mean Socom 2 at 97 which was far and away the most definitive online game for the ps2 and arguably on consoles that gen.. but they had so many games that were total crap way ahead of it.. And Vice City at number 3 is just.. lame...

I've never played it, but I came into this thread expecting it. The game gets so much love, so I'm sure it deserves it.

I stopped when I saw FFX @ #24. Invalid list. New IGN reviewers can go heck. I want the old guys back.

That list order was so weird... I mean Socom 2 at 97 which was far and away the most definitive online game for the ps2 and arguably on consoles that gen.. but they had so many games that were total crap way ahead of it.. And Vice City at number 3 is just.. lame...

Although I really enjoyed SOTC, I disagree. Not much depth in order to get that spot. I think GTA San Andreas shouldve gotten it. You could do more stuff in that game than you can do in GTA4.

Must be obscure european and south american countries keeping it alive

Although I really enjoyed SOTC, I disagree. Not much depth in order to get that spot. I think GTA San Andreas shouldve gotten it. You could do more stuff in that game than you can do in GTA4.

it takes someone who has played video games for generations to fully appreciate the awesomness of SOTC, and i am someone who played from NES days until now and SOTC is not only one of the best ps2 games of all time but one of the best games of all time. not sure about the rest of their list but their top 10 pretty much got it right, MGS3 is #2 on the list and gta vice city is #3, cant argue at all with that
