Destiny is just a glorified Call of poopoo. I was never interested in it, even when they announced it. I was impressed by the visual design/concept art but everything else screamed generic.

Evolve will be the only new game I buy the rest of the year, unless Doom 4 ends up being amazing and is released this year. I also have several games I purchased during the summer sale I need to play.
It's a great year and AAA titles are heaping this year. I've played Destiny beta and I loved everything. I read every where that players are disappointed in the game, I have no idea why nor I can make sense of their opinions. Then what games are you going to buy after you no longer want to buy Destiny? What other multiplayer games are you after?
I'm not into Destiny, but I'm interested in the next Batman.
As a bonus, the next Batman isn't for PS360, it's current gen only so I'm extra amped.

I'm not sure you guys read my post all the way through. "Slow one" infers that it isn't getting as many AAA-rated games as it normally does, not that it isn't getting any.
Still lot of games to play from last few years . Let alone this year . I have decided to finish them before trying anything new , however I'm going to play Divinity Original Sin first in coming week . Inquisition is my most anticipated game of this year so far .
Been sinking time into beta. Really like it, but will be balancing it along with ffxiv, tlou remaster, evolve, drive club and lpb 3. Still have a few vita games playing also.

I wouldnt mind Destiny in there , in fact i was hyped about it and i was about to pre-order and all but after i played beta... Hell my disappointment was huge ... I think overhype and promises killed it. Definitly im not preordering nor im buying day 1 , ill wait few months to see if people actually staying or leaving and what they have to say because lets face it .... Multiplayer online games are ....fun because of multiplayer !

Then I also have Metro Last Light and Borderlands 2 on PSN plus so why bother with Destiny?
I just spent a whole afternoon playing the Beta. I LOVED IT. Dont understand where all the hate comes from... I bet most hating it are lems still p!ssed off at Bungie...

No, you need play it online, and when disconneted to server...you cant play. And you are forced to play MP if you want those nice armor/wep from pvp vendor...
Destiny is definitely one of my most anticipated games, ever. But even if it was not coming out, I would be more than happy, still way too much on my hands.....Diablo 3, Horizon 2, Aliens, Sunset OD, Evolve, The Evil Within, Halo Collection, Dragon Age 3....
I'll have to scrape by with all the awesome exclusives coming to the WiiU, as well as the ones I haven't yet played, not to mention the multiplats and then whatever interesting is coming out for pc this year. Destiny - blah. That's just Battlefield: Outer Space. No thanks.
Battlefield? What? Lets be real here, you haven't tried the beta/alpha and only seen some youtube vids... Its like saying Halo is Battlefield or Borderlands is Call of Duty, makes no sense.
NHL and Fifa 15. Pumped to see what NHL 15 does with all the new systems (puck/player physics). Can't wait to join a team with my created pro and hopefully be on a team that passes (same with Fifa).
Having a hard time seeing whats so special about Destiny. Looks like another generic "aim down sight, instant melee kills, no recoil, with a sprint button" shooter, catered to casual console players, like everything else. It's gonna be pick up and play, with no learning curve, and its not gonna be about aiming, its gonna be about who sees who first... Aaaand its gonna be forgotten 1 month after release, just like Titanfall, the CoD games, Killzone, Battlefield games and so on.
I just spent a few hours playing it on the Xbox One, and yeah, it is the only shooter I really care for this year. Far Cry 4 looks neat, but it will not hold a candle to this for me.
