Time of release doesn't matter since we are looking at the first 24 hours each console was available to the market.

So both consoles sold about the same in the first 24 hours of their respective launches, but the PS4 is outselling the Xbox One 3 to 1? That is some strange math.

WTF at the stats. There's no way that the entire population of Canada owns a PS4.

The Xbox One IS more expensive though, and if both consoles are selling about the same, this bodes very well for Microsoft because they're making more money off their product than Sony.

Sigh. Yep, if only there was consistent demand for the products across the different countries and demographics. Brazil and Mexico are the population size of the US. Do you really believe they are buying $400 or $500 consoles at the same rate as US?

It's a ratio to the population the product was available in that time, not a direct ratio of sales.

Mind you, I completed every math course up to Math 252 during my time in High School and completed 15 college credits by the time I graduated with my Honors Diploma.

Your post tells a different story.

Since sales are 1:1 within the same timeframe, I just took the ratio of population. I understand that this is flawed, as a number of you have pointed out. This assumes that demand and consumer wealth is equal across all 13 countries.

I'd say that's a pretty good showing of insecurity.

You completely fail at the math in your OP by taking factors like distribution, demand, and availability of the given consoles (for each given country/territory) out of your equation, you get called out on it, and your response is "bu...bu... I completed tons of math courses before I graduated high school!!!!"

Lol, there are quite a few solid titles and more coming every month on the PSN. Tomb Raider reboot, Rayman Legends, Second Son. Each month has titles.

Weak UI is also highly subjective since I have read many opinions on the X1 UI being extremely slow in comparison and X1 game installs taking 40+ minutes. Both have A LOT of improving to do when it comes to UI, but I personally prefer speed and a 100 dollar cheaper price point with numerous free games every month across 3 platforms.
