Currently I do not own a Wii U but for the last few weeks I've been toying with the idea to pick one up.. Some solid games are starting to finally come out for it and that price tag is appealing.

So with a wii U in your library which other console do you pick up for exclusives? An X1 or PS4? X1 brings the kinect features and multimedia options with some solid exclusives. The PS4 brings the raw power and some solid exclusives and what I believe the be better value online with PS+.

Which consoles do you go with if you can only have 2 and for what games?

A PS4 to play with console friends and a Wii U for Nintendo Games.

Definitely Wii U and PS4. I say it all the time

Wii U offers the best first party titles in the industry. Nintendo still produces EXACTLY the kind of games I love in this industry.

PS4 offers me access to all the great 3rd party titles I'd miss if I only had a Wii U.

It worked out extremely well for me last gen when I had a PS3 and Wii and I see the same working this gen.

The only way to go!

well I have a Wii U, and getting the PS4/Vita bundle that is rumored to be just around the corner.

So PS4/Vita seemed like the most logical combo to me, especially due to the fact that most of my gaming is on PC, and most ms titles are shared exclusives across the ms systems.

WiiU and PS4.

I would have had the same combo last generation too (Wii and PS3), but Gears of War was a game that I couldn't pass up.

What everyone else said.

I only regret missing Halo 5. But Titanfall and Destiny are thankfully multiplat so I can do without :3

i would like to own a wiiu but until N fixes their 3rd party support i have to pass.

it does not matter to me how great mario, zelda and donkey kong are when i know i will not get the multiplats that i want.

Probably a WiiU and Ps4.

I know Sony will fully support their console until the end of the generation. Can't say the same about Microsoft.

PS4Bone. Combo breaker.

#19 Posted by Dire_Weasel (15873 posts) -

I can have all three, but at this point I've only bought a PS4.

I'm still waiting for a next gen console to be released.

You know, I've always been relatively low on the salary scale and always managed to snag all the consoles every gen.

Not really sure why most people don't just buy them all and shut up with this console war nonsense. There are far more expensive hobbies out there.

Most people (me included) just don't have time for all the consoles. Money isn't the issue. Lack of enough free time for all the consoles is the problem. One consoles is actually overkill for me due to me also having PC. If not for my kids, there is a really good chance I wouldn't own any consoles.

You're right, the Xbox 720p should not be counted

Same here, but I won't like missing out on Ryse, even with all the negativity I'd still like to try it out for myself. And Quantum Break because everything Remedy makes turns into gold.

WiiU+PS4 for me. In fact that's what I'll buy, in that exact order :P
