No, Sony has brainwashed americans so much that even if it was delayed and the hardware was 3 years old that it still would'nt matter.I hope you realize that fanboys will follow this company blindly. TankSwift

no but i wasnt planning on buying the ps3 till the first price drop anyways and if they dont release this year its very likely that the sytem would launch for a much lower then the predicted 500 dollar price tagxxgunslingerxx

Sony won't drop the price on the PS3 for at least a year and half after it is released.

I'll wait until the PS3 releases before I consider buying anything else. If for some odd reason it turns out to be a worse choice, then by all means I'll buy an xbox. Revolution...let's just say it would take a lot of persuasion to get me to buy a Revolution.

But at his point in time, I see no reason to be losing faith in Sony. All this about "Sony lies" and "the PS3 is nothing but hype" was spewed before the PS2 launch as well, and it turned out to be by far my favorite console thig gen.

The PS2 was hyped so much by Sony that when it finally got released it didn't lived up to the expectations. I believe the same will happen with the PS3. It will be a good machine but will it live up to the hype? If Sony's record is any indication than I would have to say no.
