ok... my mom has given in to me and she is letting me have have mass effect or unchrted b4 chrismas.

Some will say Uncharted and some will say Mass Effect. What it comes down to is your preferences in games. Both are good but completely different.

Get Mass Effect, it will last you alot longer than Uncharted will.

Although, its completely based on opinion. Do you prefer shooters or RPGs better?

If you really need to choose between the two then definitely get Mass Effect. Uncharted isn't over 10 hours long and doesn't have too much replay value. It's a great game and everything is done perfectly...it's just that it's short. Mass Effect will take you at least 20 hours to finish and it encourages a 2nd playthrough heavily. I do own both currently and that's my opinion.

I dunnno, you're gonna get to play either at some point. I'd go with...hmm....if I had my PS3 dual shock already I'd say Uncharted

Don't settle for one game. Demand that she give you both of them or you'll put her in a home home when she gets older.

I'd say Mass Effect because it's lengthy, but go with the one you think will be most enjoyable.

I would say Uncharted, because it will probably last you a week or so, depending on how much you play. Then go with Mass Effect, and play that on winter break :D

Or wait.. are you getting one now, then you have to wait until Christmas to open the other one? If so, then it would make more sence to get Mass Effect now.. then beat it over winter break, then after that, open Uncharted on Christmas, and play that!. Uncharted should last you through till like.. Burnout or something comes out :)

Mass Effect. I currently have 36 hours clocked and I'm still on my first play through, with a crapload of planets unexplored and a good bit of the story left.

my personal opinion is that you go with Mass Effect. I say this simply because mass effect is much more likely to keep you entertained until xmas, while uncharted won't last nearly as long. This is assuming you are getting more games for xmas.

It depends on your tastes. They're both shooters, but if you like a deep shooter with more elements than get Mass Effect

i have both, and i find uncharted alot of fun, the fun i have when i play gears of war. mass effect is good also, but Uncharted has that action pack fun like GEOW has.

I am playing uncharted right now, and the game is awesome in evey category. I am a little over half way and I am amazed. this game justify having a PS3 no doubt. The physics in the game are incredible with so many little things that happen which make the game amazing. I wasn't sure about it when I bought the game couple of days ago, but i went ahead and opened it. It's a great game man with the best graphics I have ever seen.
