how much time have you spent playing the new gen so far?

Now that we've come into the new gen with all three consoles launched, I'm curious to see just how much time we've spent playing these new games on new consoles. I personally have only the Wii U at this point but plan on picking up a PS4 when Arkham Knight hits.

1) Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze with 85:03

2) Super Mario 3D World with 71:50

3) New Super Mario Bros. U with 64:52

4) Pikmin 3 with 56:46

5) The Legend of Zelda the Wind Waker HD with 36:25

On a side note, I've spent over 61 hours in Miiverse as well. Needless to say, I've taken to this new generation quite a bit already.

I've played about 3 or so hours on the PS4 when it launched.

0 hours and 0 minutes.

Bought my Xbox One and immediately bought a copy of Assassin's Creed Black Flag. I've been absolutely glued to it haha. Not only is the gameplay great in my opinion, but I'm very impressed with the graphics relative to my 360. So happy I finally dished the money out. Looking to pick up a couple more games, but I've still gotta delve into Titanfall a little bit before making any more purchases. Very pleased with this version of a next gen console. Then again I've always favored Microsoft. Just too many exclusives not to get an Xbox One.

A good chunk of gaming on the Wii U. Can't say for certain but with Wind Waker HD, Mario Kart 8, Super Mario 3D World, Nintendo Land, and NSMBU I feel like it's been extensive so far.

On the PS4, the majority of game time was to Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, and I'm hoping once things slow down in my life I'll put in some solid time with Final Fantasy XIV again as I truly miss it. It's a fantastic game.

Reminds me that I need to buy and play DKC:TF

I put 40 into Ac4, another 20 into second son, 10 or more into mlb the show, child of light, transistor, 20+ hours into watchdogs... and a few others. Love that indies fill the gaps between quality AAA releases.

Probably ten or so in inFamous, four into Octodad, five into Wolfenstein, five into CoD, six or seven into Towerfall, five into Contrast, four into MGS V GZ, an hour of Outlast, Ass Creed, and Dead Nation, and then a smattering of Transistor, Resogun, Mercenary Kings and more.

Doesn't really matter since none of them are Dark Souls.

You absolutely must. It's the pinnacle of the platforming genre in my honest opinion so If you like the genre even a little, this game will most likely impress you quite a lot.

I just want Doom 4. the first Real next gen game on PC will put every other game to shame.

The one bit of advice I'd give you is to use analogue control with both of Retro's DK games. They are the only 2D platformers I'd recommend this in as the game was clearly designed for gradual degrees of movement speed. Having just two levels of speed (walk and run) is not as satisfying or intuitive as having full control over DK's movements which the developers gave you, but only if you use the analogue control method.

Wiimote and nunchuk is the best control method for DKCR with analogue movement and a more responsive roll

Wii U pro controller is the best method in DKCTF

There is no such thing as "generations" on PC

I've tried Infamous on my friends Ps4, wasn't impressed. Then I played a little resogun and it was ok (probably need more time to click). So I would say about 1 hour. I'm just playing multiplats on PC at the moment. See no reason whatsoever to dive into next gen.

that's no problem. It's just a more comfortable Wii U tablet controller. It works exactly the same with button controlled rolls and everything.

PS4/Wii U- around 100 hours

Vita/3DS- around 250 hours

PC- Catching up on my backlog

Mainly been playing PS3 and PC.

Hard to tell. I would say an average of 1 or 2 hours per day since PS4's launch.

A lot. Anyone claiming there's no games must have some very specific tastes.

Too much time playing FFXIV. The only thing to tie me over til the packed fall/winter months.

40h in bf4, about 30 in infamous ss and 30h in destiny's alpha/beta. that's it. Its sad because a beta will be my most played game on ps4 since release...

Lost track. Hundreds of hours. Ffxiv, child of light vita and Destiny beta currently getting the attention.

Mostly DR3 and Titanfall. Some KSR with family, a little watchdogs, Ryse. I don't log my time.

Between all three consoles... Without checking my Wii U activity log and actually trying to count the games on the other two platforms I'd say maybe 300 or 400 hours. A lot of that is probably Titanfall, BF4, and CoD. Been putting a lot of hours into MK8 lately.

Super Mario 3D World, Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, Pokemon Y, Legend of Zelda: Link Between Worlds, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, Wolfenstein: The New Order, Resogun, Titanfall, Valiant Hearts: The Great War, Child of Light, Strider, Shovel Knight, Light, Munin, A Story About My Uncle, Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes: 00 hours.

That's all I've beaten from the new gen between my PC, WiiU, Xbox One, PS4, and 3DS. Not including the time I've put into Mario Kart 8, Killzone Shadowfall, or Killer Instinct.

Wii U - 15ish hours on Mario 3D World, 10ish on Mario Kart 8, 4 on Wind Waker HD

PS4 - 3ish hours on MGS Ground Zeroes, like <30 minutes on Trial Fusion

PC, PS3 and Vita keep me busy lately.

I don't own new gen consoles yet . May be later down the road , I'll get them if there are enough good games to play on them . I am gaming on PC , right now . I'm playing Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag (for few weeks , now . Still much to do) . Loving it , even though I hated the 3rd one . This is truly one of the best games I've played in long time .

After Black Flag , I'll be returning to Doom 3 and original Far Cry , then Divinity : OS .

I do not have to worry about gens. This supposed next gen looks liker a joke anyways.

I played about 3 hours of Zombie U and 2 hours of Ninja Gaiden when I had a Wii U. Other than that it's been all PC and PS3 for me.

None. I can't think of any newer PC releases, and there isn't a game that I want to play on next-gen consoles.

Something between 40h-50h total split between Resogun, Trials Fusion, Sound Shapes, Killzone: SF, Warframe and Blacklight: Retribution.

well, take in mind my PS4 had hardware problems and I was like 45 days without it until Sony sent me a new one. Its a long story

my wii u is very close to unplayed. i'd say i've spent more time playing on PC at 144 fps than i have on my wii u.

i've had my wii u since november of launch year, i got my 144 fps monitor at the beginning of the july we're in.

maybe 125 hours total on my PS4 from various games
