how many of you guys bought a PS3, WII, or 360 because of one or two games.

i want to buy a PS3 because of Ratchet and Clank, Drakes Fortune, and of course

HEAVY RAIN. (Duh)

then i proabably wont intend on buying many games after that.

I met someone who bought a 360 just because Halo3

and a wii because of SMGalaxy

I bought a Wii for Mario Galaxy alone. I was hoping it would rekindle my love for Nintendo franchises on the N64, It semi-did, it was a great game but not Mario 64.

And i'm very disappointed that there's no true successor to Starfox 64 or Donkey Kong 64. Those 3 franchises are all I ever cared about for the Wii, and I only got one of them.

I was debating getting a 360 for Dead Rising and Crackdown, but I decided against it and will get a new PC this fall.

I'll have Infamous to make up for not having Crackdown, and I guess i'll just have to bite the bullet with Dead Rising (i'm not getting that port on Wii).

I bought a Wii mainly for Wii Sports :oops: and SMG.

The GC Zelda WW was the game I played the most.

I bought the 360 on release purely for Oblivion (at the time I'd moved to the states and didn't have a gaming PC), of course then they delayed it.

and yea the Wii for Wii Sports. As I still only have 2 games in total for it (big brain academy I got for nothing practically in some sale) I suppose yea I bought it purely for that.

I own 10 games for my PS3 but I only bought it for MGS4

There were more games which I was looking forward too on my Wii and 360 when buying them.

I bought a wii for galaxy, SSBB, and REUC,

360: for fable, gears , dead rising, the first saints row, jade empire 2, l4d, and others not named halo, I don't like it.

PS3: for MGS4, Resistance, KZ2, lbp, uncharted, R&C and many others

always bought consoles with the intention of playing many titles not just because i was interested in just a couple of games..

Bought PS3 because of MGS4

Bought 360 for gears and ninja gaiden

Bought Wii for Smash,Mario Galaxy and Mario kart

Bought the 360 not for any game specifically, but rather because I wanted a true HD console, and 360 being the first provided me with that and as such I jumped aboard the train.

Bought the Nintendo Wii because I was pretty certain that Nintendo was going to screw the Gamecube generation by not releasing Zelda: TP on GC and wanted to have my bases covered.

Bought the PS3 because I wanted a Blu-Ray player and I was fairly sure the RPG glut of the PS2 would come over to the PS3, I was wrong.

Nope, not really. I got a 360 first because I wanted a next gen system... then I wanted a Wii because, well, the same reason everyone else does... then I wanted a PS3 for next-gen games as well so... no particular game drew me to any system.

I guess GTAIV kinda drew me into next-gen more than any other game... but heck I got my 360 more than a year before GTAIV came out so...

sort off go my Ps3 for MGS4, God of War 3 and Killzone

but that doesn't mean that's all I will ever buy for the console:P

I have heavenly Sword, Uncharted, R&C, Resistance, Ninja Gaiden and SCIV as well and they're all awesome

Bought;

Wii for Zelda and Metroid alone, if i find any other game i like its just a bonus.

Ps3 for MGS4 and in hope to get great RPGs (seems like a 360 is enough for RPGs tho)

I bought my PS3 primarily for MGS 4, FFXIII and GT5.

Well, now just MGS 4 and GT5.

I built a gaming rig for Crysis, then sold it and bought a laptop. Now I'm thinking of selling my laptop and building another gaming rig for Crysis Warhead. I can never make up my mind.:P

All in all pc gaming isn't really worth it for me seeing as how Crysis is the only PC exclusive that interest me, cross platform games take forever to come to pc, don't care much for mods, and I hate RPG's and RTS's.

I want a Wii solely for your classic Nintendo franchises and the possibility that one day the Naruto fighter on that system will go online. I love Naruto and fighting games but the GC and Wii ones are the only ones based off of fighting rather than minigames and button guessing (lets stop calling them "quick time events").

I want a PS3 for LBP and MGS4

I purcahsed my 360 for possible Rare sequels, Mass Effect and the possibility of a KOTOR 3.

i'm gonna get a 360 arcade for the price,and buy a 120gb hard drive onebay for $100=$300 white elite.

cant wait to play forza 2,pgr 3 & 4,dead rising,and see if i can get into jrpg

I bought Wii just because it is Nintendo, I love nintendo, then i bought X360 because of Mass effect.

I also remember i bought PS2 because of the DVD and Tekken Tag Tournament....

I almost bought a Wii for Resident Evil Umbrella Cronicles and SMG but didn't get one. And man am I glad after watchin the last E3. I might get a Wii 2 someday though.

Almost got a 360 for Gears 2 and Halo 3 but didn't want a system that could break down.
