It will not stay that way. It will fall to 93's. It isn't as good as gears of war, oblivion, or bioshock. That said. It is an awesome game, but will get a 7 from edge, and probably a couple more 7's adn 8's. USA today gave it a 3/4, which hasn't been recorded yet.

I watched it being played at my friends house for a bit. Seemed the same to me as the first two: decent, fairly generic sci-fi FPS. The weapons all seemed very similar. They kept switching weapons, and I kept saying ok, why is this futuristic looking gun that shoots an energy ball better than that futuristic looking gun that shoots an energy ball? Fun? probably, but to me, Resistance looks like a better game for single player, and has a great story to boot. After about an hour, I got bored and had to come home and play Warhawk.
I do not think we should listen to the TC's taste in games.
In several posts, like this one he talks about how much he likes Lair. :|

Everything is exploding and you have to use the Warthog to reach the switch thingy, the levels were all going crazy, platforms were falling apart and the big skull on the moon gave me a bon*r. Second level was meh but i did have fun riding the Hornets to destory the banshees and reach the third panel that Sgt Johnson failed to do that idiot.
