Alien: Blackout all but confirmed for a Game Awards reveal, and... Kojima might be involved?

So it apears that New Alien FPS game is going to be revealed at TGA but Kojima is connected with it??

Would rather have another Creative Assembly game.

I doubt he's directly involved, it's just Kojima doing a tease for the game awards since he's good friends with Geoff. I have a theory, hear me out. Kojima recently visited both Fox Studios and Valve. Obviously it's painfully clear that Alien Blackout will be revealed at the game awards, but Valve is always more secretive. However, they are easily due to reveal something after the recent leaks and their statements earlier in the year. Game Awards makes sense then, unless they reveal something in early 2019 instead which is another possibility.

So Kojima is visiting studios that will be revealing a game at the Game Awards to give people some hints, or something.

I could be completely wrong, heck I probably will be, but it's fun to speculate.

Kojima actually wants death stranding on PC thats why he is meeting valve. but sony wont allow it.

That's actually a hint that Death Stranding is Half Life 3. That's also a possibility, but I can't see that happening due to Sony like you say.

Kojima is past his prime.. I think his eccentric behavior has clouded his views. Then again, I hope I'm wrong. Perhaps the old goat will turn things around and shock the hell out of me with his upcoming games... I guess only time will tell. I haven't been a fan of his for quite a few years now, but love his earlier work. Here's to hoping.

Please keep Kojima out of the Alien franchise. We don't need him mucking it up like he does everything else.

Well if Kojima is involved then the budget just went up ten fold.

He may be past his prime, but I think his biggest issue is his Hollywood facination. He's been obsessed with the whole Hollywood actors scene for the past few years. Death Stranding is chock full of A list actors not because it makes the game inherently better, but more because it gives Kojima the chance to rub elbows with them.

Once he gets over this phase (if that happens), then hopefully he will get back to making good games.

Would not surprise me. Kojima has a tendency to go ADHD on several projects, which is the reason he never manages to finish any of them.

We were supposed to get Death Stranding this year, for example, but I guess Kojima lost interest and the game will never launch.
