i just finished the first movie and, wow, that was awesome. The most amazing part was the end, with the mountains alteration and texturing, and the cave making. It looked so simple, but it worked really well. Looks great, thanks for the links.

Nu-uh.  There are still many games release without mod tools, often enough the comunity makes the tools before the dev even lifts a lazy finger.

that is true, though often those games run on an Engine which already has a map editor, so you can simply use theirs. regardless, the Majority of the Major games do have mod support, in some way shape or form.

Looks great... in some parts; however, the quality of the graphics matters little when you compare it to the speed at which he was was making it at.

No, I was saying that it looked great, yet it took barely any time to create.

map editor =/= mod tools. I was going to point that out in the first post but thought it was obviouse.

Sandbox 2 looks completely awesome. The original Sandbox was pretty cool too, but nobody really used it. Hopefully modders really take to this.

Yet another reason I will stay a hermit no tools on console. The stuff you can make yourself on pc you have to wait for then buy on console.
