Have Lemmings Always Been This Casual?

The 360 has taken over the casual gaming market with Kinect and the casuals have obviously supported that system the most this generation since it's done so well in the US market. When did Xbox customers become so casual?

They've pretty much always supported the console FPS market the most, so I guess they've always been super casual. Problem?

The PS2 had more casual games than the 360 and it is considered one of the best consoles of all time. A console should cater to both markets. Second the 360 put out more hardcore games than the PS3 every year since release. Third, go on Xbox live and play a multiplayer game then go on PSN and pay a multiplayer game. The kids on live are much more hardcore players.Miketheman83

The 360's biggest games are CoD and Halo. So yes it is casual.

Kinect has only been around for the end part of the 360 lifespan, so your argument that casuals made it sell is completely wrong. MS had killer games in the beginning (which it eventually lost to multiplat status) but those drove sales. Being timed exclusives helped sell a LOT of xboxs for gamers who wanted to play these games right away. Then having the games released multiplatform later allowed developers to make that extra money they wanted in the first place.

Looking at the PS4 controller, touch panel and move light, looks like ps4 will be aimed to capture the casual market. Sony wants what microsoft has.

Microsoft was for the core until 2009 when they went casual to chase after the Wii's pot of gold.

MS and their fans can't even be taken serious these days, they're the new Nintendo. Everything has come full circle. Of course in 2013, Sony is still the brand the people still associate with hardcore. I tip my hat to Sony, they didn't fold even with all the financial trouble.rasengan2552

Thirded. I will watch from the sidelines and try not get dragged into it but I am still excited by it and hope the PS4 is something good
