3DS... below $99? The DSi just went to $99 last year.Nope.. 3DS has nothing that interest me other than the new pokemon ( which is still the exact same thing i played when i was a kid, capture pokemons, gym and tournament ).
i'll wait for Black Friday deals tho and if dosent go below $99 then i'll only settle with the PS4 this year in terms of new hardware

I had one last year for work (working 14.5 hours a day can get really boring) but I traded it after I left that job. Gonna pick up another 3DS here shortly since they announced LTTP 2 and I need to play the new Fire Emblem game, been playing my friends copy when he isn't playing it.

The last game had a pretty obvious set-up for a sequel at the end.

3DS has great RPGs like Rune Factory 4, Eterian Odyssey 4, Soul Hackers, SMT IV, Bravely Default: FF, DQVII Remake. How can you say you're "not missing much"? If those games were on a Sony platform you'd make a ton of threads about how good they'll be.Nintendo sold me on it months ago, but they have not sold one to me yet :(
There are about 20 games I'd play (not that I'd have time to play them all I'm sure), and plenty more coming.

literally zero interest in the 3DS. I look at the 3DS and its like looking at a toasterNengo_FlowThe vita is the toaster. Overpriced with a small library. The 3DS is getting so many games, I don't even have time to play them.

This is sort of nonsense.
People used to say same thing about PSP vs. DS. But for the most part, both systems had small libraries of relevant/quality games. However last gen it was practically a tie if you pulled out the best games. Unfortunately neither system ever really got my attention, and even at the end of the lifecycles when the systems got uber cheap I just shrugged my shoulders at them.Â
The difference right now is a little bigger for 3DS, but it's still not that big of a deal. From what I see 3DS has about 15 games that I "would play" if I had time, and Vita has about 10 games that could possibly be worth my time (assuming I could bother allocating time to a handheld). It's not much of a difference and still a very small, paltry library compared to the larger world of gaming. I honestly don't even know why I bought a handheld at all, but I just happened to buy a 3DS because there was a cool limited edition version for $159.

You can put all sorts of things in a toaster. Bread, bagels, English muffins, hamburger buns, pop tarts. You can get those dumb sleeves and make grilled cheese in it.

Eterian Odyssey 4 and Soul Hackers are both first person RPG ( first person RPG's are never enjoyable to me ), i was not able to like any of the SMT games on PS2 so i doubt that would change with the 3DS.. Bravely Default and pokemon are both interesting but not worth $160+tax+$40+tax just yet and rune factory? lol the PS3 game they relesed wasnt that interesting so i doubt i'd like the 3DS one.
again its all about what you prefer and 3DS has nothing interesting so again to reply to TC, no nothing got me very intersted to get one.
even if those games were on Vita i would only get Bravely Default.
No. Â The games are there and the price is reasonable. Â But every time I buy a handheld it ends up in a drawer, never to be used. Â I've owned a DS since launch and probably played it for about 30 hours.
3DS is becoming better than PS1 and N64 combined
And those are my top systems of all time
Imagine a system that would have both FF9 and Zelda, 3DS is the first such system on earth AND does it with next gen graphics and 3D effect on top
And on top of all that it also gets a huge number of super quality amazing other titles like Fire Emblem, Layton etc and offers full DS games compatibility
I bought one when Fire Emblem Awakening came out, enjoyed the hell out of that game; just recently bought Revelations, also a great game. The 3D works surprisingly well also. My next game is going to be Monster Hunter Ultimate for sure over the summer. It's a great system.Â

Pc has both FF9 and Zelda.
I had my doubts on whether it was a good decision but thanks to Luigis Mansion, being amazing and the games coming out this year it has made me very happy to own one and with Smash Bros being made as well for it who needs a Wii U.

The 3DS is getting so many games, I don't even have time to play them. You mean expensive, overpriced implies they are making a fortune on them, like the memory cards. Smaller library is a given since vita came out later, but it still has more games in my interest. So while you don't have time to play all your 3ds games, I would have time to spare with no games left since I only like 3 games that are on it.
I've had a 3DS since launch. Initially the system was a letdown, but now the games that have come out and will continue to come out are making it my favorite system overall. I have close to 10 games I've pre-ordered or will pre-order within the coming months.

No. The 3D messes with my eyes and spending money on a system where the main feature is more harmful than good won't happen.Â

You can just turn it off. I've played 3DS games on a friend's system and never once have I felt as if the 3D effect was a necessary element to the game.Â
It's actually very useful for Super Mario 3D Land. Not necessary but definitely helps.I'm thinking about getting it for Pokemon X/Y. Don't care too much about the other games except maybe Super Mario 3D Land and my brother already got that.
