Hand of Fate. I thought Sony had better QC now.

I was looking for something to kill time until Bloodborne comes out so I went to the PSN store. I found this new indie game called Hand of Fate that sounded AWESOME. It's essentially a deck building game with some simple-ish combat thrown in (very Batman oriented). It's like single player D&D.

Thing is the frame rate drops to unplayable levels at times (mainly during combat), the sounds cuts in and out, the loading times are atrocious when transitioning to combat (super small arenas), and it plays hell with my PS4's cooling fan. For such a simplistic game I'm at a loss to what the **** it's calculating that every few minutes the cooling fan kicks into high gear when you're just sitting at a table across from the dealer (the DM) looking at cards. Until HoF I've only heard my cooling fan run like that once or twice and that was after marathon gaming sessions. For the combat the fan seems to slow down believe it or not. Hell, this could have been on the PS3/360 if it ran at 720p.

I thought you were through with this shit!!!!! From what I'm reading on other forums I'm not the only one having problems with it on the PS4. I know PC players are fine, but is the X1 having the same issues?

I think the game has no X1 version. The devs says that they are working on it.

Saw it on steam the other day. Looked cool, but my backlog is disgusting right now and I got DoA, MKX, and Arkham Knight prepurchased.

Well, at least it doesn't sound as bad as Tetris Ultimate on PS4, which I think I heard messes up if you have a big friends list and you're online. If you do have a big friends list, try playing offline and see if it boosts the game's performance.

the ps4 is just a cheap indie and flop station now. they have no money for real games. sell it and get and X1.
