Halo 5, Black Ops 3, or Battlefront - FPS of the holiday?

Which one are you most hyped for, SW? I thought Halo 5 was pretty fun when I played the beta. But at the same time, Black Ops 3 is gonna be big; I have high expectations for it. I'll be in on that beta. As for Battlefront - I'm a Battlefield fan, so I hope this turns out great. I have faith in DICE. Out of these three, I would say I'm looking forward to Black Ops 3 most. I think Treyarch is going to hit a home run with this iteration. What say you?

As far as Battlefront is concerned, almost every account of people who've played the game was generic and underwhelming. Online-Only Battlefield with Star Wars tacked on......

I enjoy Battlefield, Im playing Hardline as I type this, but yuck at every word in that sentence.

I always end up buying the COD games, except Advanced Warfare. Played that with my brother. Saved some money on that.

Halo 5's Warzone looks cool, and Battlefront is not bad looking either. Maybe ALL OF THEM.

In order of hype Halo 5 > Star Wars > BO3

I already regret pre-loading BO3, I mean I enjoyed Advanced Warfare but having skipped the last few CODs I felt that was enough for a while.....them I remembered how much fun I had with BO1 on the 360, and in a moment of weakness I decided to get BO3....oh well.

Halo 5 is ..well a new Halo game on dedicated servers, loved the Beta, and the Warzone mode looks sick.....I'm also very interested in the campaign story......my most anticipated game of the year now.

Star Wars I have high hopes it will be a fun online shooter because I like DICE. But I'm waiting for more footage before making my decision on this one

Black Ops 3 will sell most, but the game looks like a lame version of Titanfall without Titans. Battlefronts 3 will probably upset people without a SP campaign and lack of space battles, and limited to 40 player MP instead of 64 player.

I'm more excited for Halo 5 myself, doubt it'll sell more than Blops 3 by any stretch, and against Battlefronts 3 that's still a coin flip, but if I could choose to only play one then it'd be Halo 5.

Halo is probably my most anticipated game period. MCC has been so much fun since it got fixed.

Halo 5 for the campaign, Black Ops III for the multiplayer, and Battlefront for the graphics.

I own EVERY Halo (save for the MCC as I don't own a One). And I reached my series fatigue after Reach.

I picked up COD last year and it was phenomenal (F*k you haters) but what's really left after augmented Soldiers battling it out?

I REEEEEEEALLY want to like Battlefront but no single player has me at a loss. I may pick it up on the PC if I do decide to get it (not dealing with server shutdown on the consoles).

Don't forget Fallout4 in November. (It's basically just a shooter now)

Battlefront on lock, and i would get Halo 5 if i had an X1. I'll most likely still be playing Planetside 2 by then, i love this game.

Another CoD is never an option to me.

I will play Halo 5. Most people will buy CoD Black Ops 3. Somehow we will all hate Battlefront. EA does a lot of questionable things with beloved franchises not named Madden for some weird reason.

And not a single one will I be purchasing. FPS have gone down hill recently really really down hill. After trying the lat call of duty I'm done with that series, haven't liked anything out of 343, and Battlefront isn't fucking battlefront. So Ya sucks to think one of my favorite genre's will be regulated to me play unreal tournament 3 on the odd occasion for the foreseeable future.

I like the direction they've went in terms of changing things about Halo 5, it's back to what I want from Halo, while still making an effort to change it.
Halo is a multiplayer series to me, so I give no fucks about how dumb the campaign will be.

That and mp shooters lately aren't that hot on these consoles, and I like Halo's core gameplay in MP enough to keep buying it, only to be disappointed. It's a vicious cycle, it's like being a sports fan on some level. They lose the game on Sunday, you divorce them on monday, you make up on Wednesday, Friday you're back at church getting married, and they lose again Sunday.

Only halo 5 is a day one purchase for me from this list. I'll probably gamefly the others.

Yeah, Warzone does sound like good fun. That's what has me interested in the game to begin with. Wasn't in the beta, but I heard the gameplay was pretty smooth. From the changes they made, to still making the game feel like Halo.

Battlefront for me. That game looks like pure sex.

battlefield has pushed next gen graphics a lot though so how is that a bad thing? halo 5 doesn't even look half as good as the effects i seen in battlefront just as a graphical user dunno about gameplay yet tho but it flat out looks better so if a skin looks better than a new game that's just terrible

as a fan of cod, halo, and dice, i'm sadly not really super looking forward to any of them. after bf4 dice has proved that they aren't the AAA dev they once were, 343 doesn't have shit on old bungie, and black ops 2 was effing terrible, i have little faith in bo3. if i had to choose one then halo 5 as i'm buying that for sure just to see how the story plays out.

Didn't realize it was slated for a 2015 release. Assumed maybe early 2016. Still excited for it as even though the last one got a lot of hate 3 still holds as one of my favorites if not my favorite out of them all.

im getting Battlefront and Halo 5

I cant buy every game I want as usual. I know right now: MGS5 on PS4; Halo 5; Rise of TR; Fallout 4 on X1. Not sure I can afford anything else this year. Battlefron will have to go on back burner and I am sure there are others. But the Witcher 3 is still being explored as is Arkham Knight. As long as I am done at least once with them by the time MGS5 arrives.

Did you get the ODST campaign? I was pleasantly surprised at how challenging it was after all this time. Hunters are easier as a Spartan imo.
