Halo 4 VS Black Ops 2

Sales-Black Ops 2 will be the better selling game no doubt, it's the more popular series and is a multiplat. However sales do not equal quality, but Lems seem to think that it does.

Fanbase- I don't entirely understand this one, in terms of size well Black Ops 2 will have the bigger fanbase. In terms of maturity or whatever, both games attract racist kids and dumbass teens.

Players Online-Black Ops 2 will have more players online, more fanbase means more people playing it.

Advertising-Tie, both games will have a good amount of advertising behind them.

Hype-Tie, both will have a good amount of hype behind them.

So Black Ops wins 3-2 according to your standards. However what game is better is subjective, but to me I'm more interested in BO2.

Which game will win as the biggest First Person of 2012 in terms of:

• 1-Sales
• 2- Fanbase
• 3-Players online
• 4- Advertising
• 5-hype

• 1-Sales Of course this is gonna be Black Ops 2. Having a version on every conceivable platform known to man tends to lead to more sales as opposed to the game being on one system.
• 2- Fanbase Is this a rhetorical question :|? Both games will probably have unusually bad fanbases.
• 3-Players online Of course this is gonna be Black Ops 2.
• 4- AdvertisingNothing touches the Activision Marketing Empire, but Halo 4 will have a ridiculous amount of marketing.
• 5-hypeHalo 4. It has an actual number in the title, the first time for a halo game since 2009.

Considering I haven't enjoyed a Halo game since Halo 2 on the PC, I'm going to go with Black Ops 2. Though I probably won't like Black Ops 2 that much either...only interested a little in the multiplayer and pretty interested in the zombies.

• 1-Sales = BLOPS 2, it's multiplat, will be close on 360 only sales though
• 2- Fanbase = More people play COD so BLOPS 2
• 3-Players online = More people play COD so BLOPS 2
• 4- Advertising = Halo 4 does this right
• 5-hype = Tie

Halo 4 will definitely win in terms of quality. Anyone who thinks BO2 will be a better game is an idiot.

Ah yes, the war between Halo and COD. Its been like this since 2007 and there was a break in 2011 when EA blabbered about BF3 being the superior shooter. I'll go with Halo 4 because it requires more skill and is less n00b friendly than COD.

Despite all the differences that I may or may not like in Halo 4, that game looks quality. Blops 2 hasn't got me that interested

black ops for all. Halo 4 sp will be much better and cod mp will be much bettercampzor

Yeah I'd say that's right. As fun as BO2's campaign will be, Halo 4's 4 player co-op support and continuation of Chief's tale should really add to the campaign experience, especially since they've finally decided to stop with the backtracking BS so much in Reach. On the other hand, Halo's MP has gotten a bit stale and unbalanced in Reach, and BO2 seems to be introducing a lot of neat concepts (such as competitive zombie survival with 8 players).
