Well that's comforting. I have all my MP3s on my PS3, and was saddened by the news that I couldn't do the same thing on the new hardware. But I still have 2 concerns: 1) will there be an easy way to transfer my music, videos etc to the PS4, and 2) can I create custom in game soundtracks with my own music... because I am not willing to pay Sony for their music rental service.

Glad they added support for such a widely utilised, good compression for the quality, audio codec. I like 128kbit/s MP3, can fit plenty of music on portable devices.
