real talk.
The trailer wasn't much maybe I'll watch it later again but Trevor and Michael are the most interesting since they gave me the vibe from TV characters I love like Boyd from Justified and Walter White from breaking bad.
Driving physics looks more of arcade racing games which is a big improvement specially after playing Sleeping Dogs. They need to fix the driving and the shooting mechanics.

[QUOTE="jg4xchamp"] Things that permeate most Rockstar games to begin with. Save the hyperbole for when/most likely if the game actually delivers.

To make the shooting satisfying is just copy and paste mechanics from Max Payne 3. MP3 is legitimately top notch in the gunplay dept.
To make the driving satisfying is to lightly tweak GTA 4's to feel less "boat-ey."
The only issue is repetition at this point.
And their writing, but sure they are getting better and better on the mechanics side. As long as the characters aren't as stiff/sluggish in their movement the way Niko and Marston were from cover to cover Rockstar is at least getting their mechanics up to snuff. The moment to moment gameplay needs to be significantly more consistent than RDR/GTA 4: Those two games walked a fine line between shit barrel and actually kind of entertaining. That's why I feel like I'll be enjoying Watch Dogs action more than GTA V.

Now after giving it another thought. The amount of stuff offered at the player's disposal in GTAV is more than driving and shooting only so even if the driving and shooting mechanics didn't play well, Watch Dogs probably won't offer planes or any of that other batshit crazy GTA offers.
I think the first one is my favourite. Is what they're showing here actual game play? Its hard to know what developers are actually showing us anymore.
[QUOTE="Sweenix"]You have no idea how much it hurt me to lie like that. Aaaaand I just noticed the typo. Great... :x[QUOTE="Xaero_Gravity"]Who cares about GTAV anymore? It's all about Lego Ciry baybeh!Xaero_Gravity
It must hurt sheep a lot then

Every GTA game has been on PC and was never announced on console release. Every. Single. One.
you'd think by now people would start noticing the pattern
Eh, I'm agreeing but also playing devil's advocate and saying that things change, including devloper's priorities.
I know the history and everything but, still, times change and developers change.

Also "Every. Single. One." is blatantly untrue.
Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories and the London expansions were consoles only (with the Stories games being handheld first before moving onto PS2 and later PS3 as PSN titles), and that's ignoring Chinatown wars which is handheld only.
I guess it's nitpicking since those aren't "major" GTA games, but the Stories games were big enough to get some rave reviews and console releases, and there aren't any PC versions of those.
Of course, as mentioned, things change. Red Dead: Redemption was basically Grand Theft Horse and got no PC release.
Still, I am hoping hard for a PC release since I'd love to get it as soon as possible on PC, but if takes too long I'm just going to get it at launch on consoles.

Right, I wasn't counting side games. And max payne 3 came, got excellent pc support, runs awesome, and looks awesome
Shaping up to be quite the title. Still day one :o
Hopefully we get something like a 15 minute gameplay video in the future.
It's GTA, of course it'll be fun.The productions certainly there, but will it actually be fun? The jury is still out on that one.

Comparing RDR to GTA V? LOL.[QUOTE="jg4xchamp"]You people are on crack that reggea station was the shit. It was one of the few likeable things about that game, besides the free roam multiplayer with friends. Yea but the rap and rock stations were shit.[QUOTE="mems_1224"] The soundtrack in GTA4 was a letdown mems_1224
I can't even remember the last time I listened to the regular radio in GTA4. Listened to it early on, until I heard most/maybe all of the humorous commercials, but since then I've just cycled my own music on the Independence FM station. Great excuse to just listen to music. I love to just sit around and listen to music, but I get fidgity if I'm not doing something else with my hands and/or eyes. So I love to get a new album, throw it on Independence FM, and listen to it while driving around the city.
Sucks so bad this wont be on PC. millerlight89
That would suck. Good thing it will be on PC. No more than 9 months (at the absolute most) after the initial launch.

Why does everyone act like Ballad of gay tony doesn't exist? It combined all the good things from gta 4 with the crazy missions from VC/SA.
Rockstar said that gta v will have more variety in missions as compared to iv,which means it will be as good as bogt.
Really stoked for this game. Hopefully Rockstar will return the car and character customization that San Andreas had.
Am I the only one who isn't feeling this game? The city looks amazing but the characters not so much, there's something "forced" about these characters and the humor, like they're trying too hard ...the animations look awkward as well, which doesn't help. I have a feeling it'll dissapoint.
