My friend, for many of us, Nintendo is apart of our childhood. Indeed for many, it was a replacement for friends and parents.
Your sig is way too coincidental. I just ordered some cello sheet music of some Phantom pieces. Angel of Music <3
Anyways, I came into this thread thinking it would be a Steve Smith kid crying spoof. Oh well.
Angel of music is a masterpiece
In fact, the entire soundtrack the phantom of the opera is a masterpiece <3

It's no Tosca but it is divine.

It is, bless Andrew Lloyd Webber and his musical mind. Really powerful stuff.
I am not going to click this, so what is it about?
short story of the video - nintendo's failure to embrace online leaves a nintendo fanboy despondent.

Tosca's soundtrack is way different from Phantom's though :P
I like Phantom more, but way too different time periods for me not to have an apples and oranges caveat comparing them. Still, Tosca is pretty damn great. Did it ever become a movie?

Don't think so, unless it was something really obscure.

Aww, I'll never see the third part then
Guys like this are the main reason I love bashing Nintendo. They truly believe Nintendo is the only answer. Sony and MS fans know "deep down in their heart" that Nintendo is the "champion" of gaming.
Even though it makes dumb **** mistakes over and over and offers me personally nothing, its the champion. You can't see the world as it is.
Respect the guy for doing what he believes in. Anyone born after 1995 didn't have the childhood a lot of us had. Nintendo was life for most kids. And now, nintendo is the only console still sticking to their roots. None of that DRM, pay for online bullshit. As a PC gamer who thoroughly respects anyone respects Nintendo, I don't have a clue how they can get back on track. This gen of kids are the kind that you find on youtube going "LOLOLOLOL *** COD minecraft xxx 69". They don't have the same feelings towards Mario and Pokemon as kids 15 years ago. I honestly don't know how nintendo can succeed without changing to the same FPS and realism focused garbage the PS4 and XONE bring.
Nintendo has over 200 games for available for the wiiu. That number is good enough to satisfy me. Anything else that comes is just a bonus.
Virtual console is not Wii U games.
not gonna knock him for this...nintendo is part of my childhood too, and its sad to see the wii u failing, but maybe this kick in their ass is exactly what they need to rebound because honestly, I'm not impressed with the ps4 or X1 so far.
I'm sorry, I laughed. But only cause he didn't just start crying, the video cut to him in the middle of crying and it was hilarious. Even though I've never owned a Nintendo system I can sort of understand his pain, the same pain I feel when Sonic is driven to the ground in an endless cycle of mediocre games. Sonic was a huge part of my childhood so I'll cry tears of joy if the new Sonic game by Big Red actually gets anything right.
Didn't watch the video, because I figured it would be too awkward for my likes, but I'll say that as far as I am concerned, the only real issue That Nintendo needs to deal with as far as online is concerned is dealing with the fact that purchases are tied to the systems, and not some sort of account.
When he teared up I legit laughed.
Was it really nintendo that championed the analog stick? I thought that was Sony.
It appears that his grandmother passed away the day of that video. It was on his facebook page, in the video description.
That's sad, I feel bad for him. Seriously though he shouldn't be crying over Nintendo. I was a huge SEGA fan as a kid and I didn't cry when DC died, I just moved on. If Nintendo doesn't change they will go the way of SEGA and that's that, it's not something to cry over.
I will never understand why people are dedicated fans of only one console/device/whatever. I can understand not liking a company or being interested in what a company is making if you happened to like/dislike what they made before, but crying over a piece of hardware WTF...
It's somewhat ironic to find people chastising him for his behavior in a video where they do the same thing posting here on the forums.

I don't think the tears are for Nintendo. He's watching what used to be stable parts of his childhood disappear in a short time span.
The day my grandfather died was the day of my last theatre performance in high school. I cried at curtain call and got some bewildered reactions when really I was sad about how my childhood felt like it had come to an abrupt and sudden end, with no input from me. I imagine he feels the same way.

If he was so sad then maybe he should have been spending time talking with family or friends instead begging of Nintendo to put online in Mario. The clothes and room were a bit much too.

Why did you bother to provide background info about his personal life if not to change how this video was perceived?
