An excellent choice for #1, IMO. Probably the best game I've played in years. His whole top 10 is quality, though as is his other 20. Not surprising coming from a developer of his skill.

Best of luck to him and his team on Transistor. If it's as good as Bastion, it will be a gem.

I miss Greg, Gamespot could use a ton more staff like him (and lot less staff that they currently have...).

Gamespot used to feel like a site run by passionate gamers and reviewers...now the site is little more than a soap box for liberal trendsters....

If this guy was still around Gamespot's opinion would actually matter. Greg K was the best game reviewer ever.

The Last of Us was mentioned, so I guess BallroomPirate won't be whining.

Antichamber was on the wrong list, should have been on his real one, not on the list with the work simulator.

Liked him when he was editor at Gamespot, but his games are, well, meh. I just couldn't get interested for Bastion.

Damn really? I thought it was a brilliant game. I think it sold pretty well too.

he was my fav reviewer when he worked for gamespot.

He was the only guys opinoin I took into consideration from GS when I was looking at a game.

Greg was one of the best editors Gamespot ever had and he went on to make Bastion. He's a pretty smart dude.

On a more serious note, he was the greatest reviewer that has ever been on Gamespot, and he was the personification of Gamespot itself. Wen people thought of Kasavin, people automatically thought of Gamespot, and vice versa.

Everything went to shit after he left (in 2007), and now Kevin Vanord is the only person holding Gamespot from falling into a cesspool of shit.

All of this. I really like Danny and Jonneh, too. Wish they did reviews. VanOrd is pretty much the only reviewer I care about here.

The really are. Bioshock's combat is incredibly mindless and tedious from start to finish and the writing doesn't know what the hell it's doing or where it's going. The Last of Us is an absolutely miserable experience through and through.

TLOU should have been #1 with GTA V #2
