Good games you never finished

Witcher 3. Played like 30 hours just stopped. Maybe someday... Maybe. You?

If it is good, why did you stop? I think most people finish games they like.

Fire Emblem Sacred Stones (probably will restart it fresh someday)

Dragon Age: Origins. I was nearing the end, was in the Deep Roads and my friend saved over my game. Haven't had the heart to pick it back up.

Dark Souls 3

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Hyrule Warriors, Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate, Super Mario 3D World, and Xenoblade Chronicles X. Also havnt finished Metroid for NES.

These are just the ones ive started. I have more i havnt started, maybe bout 10-15. Im pretty behind schedule.

Final Fantasy IX. Arguably my favourite game in the series, on two different occasions my save file corrupted while on the fourth disc. Something tells me it wasn't meant to be.

Metroid Prime would be another one. Leaving that one unfinished is a personal gaming sin, simple as that.

Also, Warcraft 3's campaign, despite the time I sunk into the game's entirety. I started it back up though, so this one may be rectified!

Skyrim, Oblivion, and Morrowind.

Over 200 hours in each and never finished the main quest in any of them.

Usually I stopped at playing a very good game because of several things :

1) I hit a lull in the game pacing and somehow just lost the drive to push forward because it happens that it involves the dull part of the game and mechanics

2) After good number of hours, I just got over a seriously epic challenge or arc or whatever, you have that awesome feel good moment about yourself or char(especially RPGs) and for some stupid reason, you don't want to spoil it. You just think, yep thats it, thats good enough for me and just dont have the drive to go any further and face any more challenges.

Alice the madness returns. It's a good game but for some reason i got of tracked, i may finish someday :)

Fallout 4,, Dragons Age Inquisition. I hope some day to return to both.

Littlebigplanet 1 and 2

Fantastic Games/Story Mode, but the Platinum Trophy is almost impossible for me to achieve.

Can't really "finish" those games though

Because my GPU died before I can even play those games.

Awaiting for the 1070 so I can continue playing them, til then I'm stuck with my potatoes. :(

The original Dark Souls. The tutorial area boss kicked my ass and never returned.

A lot. Pretty much 80% of my steam library.

Don't know if I'd call this good. :P But, I never finished it, either. In fact, I never finished Skyrim. I modded the hell out of the games, played for a while and then became bored and quit.

Basically all of the Ass creed games. I think I only ever finished Assassin's Creed 1, but then again, those games aren't that great past 2. Far Cry 3 and 4, same thing, never finished.

And for some actual good games I never finished:

Soma, Arkham Knight, Outlast, Doom(Working on that, though), Dead Space 1(planning to go back, I was near the end), Dead Space 3(wasn't that good), Dragon Age Inquisition(played for 20 minutes and became bored of the combat), Thief 3 and Thief 1(still have to replay those), GTAIV, Wasteland 2(still have to finish), Borderlands(all of them), and I'm sure there's more.

Yeah, i'm bored in Fallout 4.

Not to mention i hate that like/dislike system with the companions.

Tried killing the basball guy for being stupid too.

And i just said Fallout 4 cause it's the only game i have started and not finish.

Got tons of games i haven't even started, and might not even start ever, like Arkham Knight, cause i'm sick of Batman.

Final Fantasy 7, I just don't get it.

@SolidGame_basic: Rouge Galaxy, Dragon Quest VIII, Sunset Overdrive, Bloodborne, Infamous SS and a bunch of other games. I finished a few Indie games like Max and the Curse of Brotherhood: A Tale of Two Sons. Haven't really finished much else.

There are a few popular games that I started but never finished. The most recent is Uncharted 4. I grew bored of it, and switched over to Doom. I really haven't looked back. I will get around to finishing it at some point, but with a backlog, and Blood and Wine coming up, it probably won't be any time soon.

Zelda - A link to the past, Brothers in Arms

I'm lost, I thought when you love a game or think it's good, you want to finish it. But, maybe because it's really long, you never got the chance to do so. I always finish the games that I love, eventually.

Assassin's Creed: Black Flag

has been haunting me for a long time too, I got as far as installing it already...

Funny enough, working on Witcher 3 again right now. Getting the closing stretches, setting up for Blood and Wine, and should basically end up beating all of The Witcher 3 in one go.

lol it would be easier to tell you the games I FINISHED than the games I didn't finish.

Llong gone are the days that you had amazing games that you beat time and time again with the same excitement and joy because they were so fantastically built each time felt good.

Demon's Souls was probably the last game that truly gave me that amazing feeling. Beating that game over and over again and making new discoveries was a ture joy. I have easily beaten Demons 20+ times ...most other games don't see me entertain them their half way point.

To bloodborne's credit, tho it's no where near Demon's Souls, I have beaten that game multiple times and easily the most replayed (full completion) game of this gen for me.

These are the big ones right now, and are what I'm working on currently (specifically Bloodborne.) Hopefully I can look back after this year and have a number of those done--my goal is to have Bloodborne, Okami, KotOR, and The Witcher 3 finished.
