@kinectthedots:
What's funny is it's you who have escalated this since the other day.
In a simple thread asking who will win the holidays, (even as an Xbox fan) I simply conceded that Sony will win the holidays, and I said that because (1) it's a safe bet that will be the case, and (2) because I wanted to begin my thought in a disarming manner in order to steer myself away from the very kind of combative reaction you seem hellbent on pursuing. I followed up by saying MS can come away with a small (i.e. "moral") victory if they can deliver quality Tomb Raider and Halo games to its base, both of which would satisfy me as I'm personally looking forward to both. That's it. I didn't go on about how they were exclusives and it being an advantage for MS over Sony. You decided to make that interpretation yourself.
I have no idea as to why, but you seemed to be greatly reactionary to this rather than just let me post my two cents, and felt like doing a comparative title counting between the two systems to show me just how wrong I was, trying to drag me into a confrontation I have no desire for.
I fail to see your logic in calling me a hypocrite. Your saying I'm a hypocrite because I say a title is exclusive if they're not on their competitor's system; well, yes, half-true I have long held the position (and not just one way) that as long as titles aren't on their chief competitor's system and are (typically) PC + MS/Sony releases then I see them as exclusives (or "console exclusives") in that sense, I apply equally. That's my way of looking at things, I don't attribute that to any one group. I hardly see how you're using that against me.
And there's really no connection between what I said in this thread about the "not on the Xbone deck" comment. The entire (between the lines) point of my comment there wasn't to say that people count games as exclusives that they shouldn't, and by shouldn't I don't mean because they're not exclusive, but shouldn't because they're not the kind of games that would help their system's image. It'd be like an Xbox fanboy listing Fighter Within as a reason to own an Xbox One (which would probably have the opposite of the intended effect given it's such a bad game).
Also regarding my post here, it wasn't to despair the game. I'm sure those that made it are very self aware. Honestly don't think anybody here really cared one way or another how bad this did. There was no hype so no flop. I've no reason to hate on it. If anything, my comment here would only appear to offend those who would (as I might have called it) actually list this as a reason worth owning a PS4 when they create the stack-the-deck list of any and all exclusives. I've no reason to hate on the PS4. Hell, I want one, I've said this numerous times. But just like I ended on yesterday, as much as it shouldn't matter, the most obnoxious cows like yourself have had been a serious deterrent in killing my motivation for getting a PS4. All the same, I'll probably save up to pounce on it this year's Black Friday, PS4 fanboys aren't going to utterly ruin my desire for the console, but they can sure dampen my enthusiasm to get one. All fanboys have their issues, but cows are exceptional, which is why I don't mind using the pejorative nickname. But, just don't take it from me...
