Didn't like the first one never finished it couldn't stand it. MIGHT pick it up again and give it a second chance now that it's on PC.

Don't understand why anyone is excited about a Gears ultimate edition.

Total filler for August and nothing more.

Not that I'm interested though. While it's a much better playing game now, it's still only the first. Would've bought it if it was the whole collection.

Can't see how it's a bad thing really! I played it (admittedly quite briefly) and didn't really enjoy it but it's a well rated game that some people on PC wouldn't have had the chance to play. I might pick it up cheap when it's on sale and give it a proper go this time.

Would have been better if it was Gears 1 - 3 with Judgement. Why do we need the first game again?

Ok. I personally stopped caring about Gears of War 8 years ago.

Played this 8 years ago. So unless this is running on Unreal Engine 4, I don't see a point of re-releasing it on PC.

Didn't even finish the first one. Those big ass dudes in this game are so annoying. It's too dudebro-ish for my taste.

It's cool if PS4 has more cross PC games since, and this is important, it still has more playstation brand exclusives and more actual exclusives as well. Xbox one only has a few true exclusives to start with so it hurts that system a lot more when they go to PC, but from your reply, I gather you know that already.

I was going to say the same thing, the first gears came to the PC so no big surprise at all and I hear it's going to be 4k if you have the rig for it. If it's cross-play then that would be great also. Having more people playing it make competition so much more intense. I played the beta earlier today and it's amazing how the game looks and I have to get use to in running 60 frames but it's turning out to be a must buy in August for me.

Nice, but I doubt my current PC would run them worth a crap though. Would have liked to see them make a collection for the Xbone. Would be nice to see the first two Gears games upgraded and added to a collection with the 3rd Gears...hell they could even throw in Judgement. I'd pay $60 for that.

i see no reason to release it for pc. it's only gears 1 remastered. the pc version of gears 1 is already like a remastered version of the xbox 360 version lol

I just watched some footage of this, and it's just as slow and plodding in it's pace as it's always been. I really wish they would of upgraded the animation quality because it just looks terrible now.

Played Gear 1 on the PC. Still no Gears 2, 3 on the PC so fail. It was d!ck move for M$ to bring Gears 1 on the PC but not Gears 2 and 3.

What about the others

Ya a remaster of a game the pc all ready has and a port of one released two years ago. Once again bare minimum too zero support from microsoft o. Their biggest platform.

do they even sell that version anymore?
