Advance Wars. Nintendo are sitting on an amazing turn based strategy game and they're just not doing enough with it.

I want to see a proper home console version of the turn based game.

That's true.

Battalion Wars was interesting but when it comes to "pure" gameplay, Advance Wars always had the edge over it.

But Nintendo is not exactly the company that give the fans exactly what they want.

This may be good or bad, depending on the angle of perspective.

The good part is, that the "fanbase" has so diverse viewpoints and wishes that if they obeyed them all they would produce a "cluster****" of confusion noone would like. (except for the odd few)

The bad part is, they may stray off too far from what the fanbase wishes, not really pleasing anyone again.

So they're not exactly in an grateful position when the expectations are so big and diverse but there is only so much manpower and resources to try to satisfy all. (note that "satisfying everyone" is just an imaginary illusion as we all have different tastes and desires)

I still think Battalion Wars would be a great fit for Wii U.

That still has it's place, but turn based and real time are very different. I didn't even know how much I liked turn based until I played advance wars.

I want remakes that are like the Halo CE remake, where they actually take the game and put it in a next gen engine instead of just upscaling the game a bit.

Like Resident Evil 4 HD in the RE5/RE6 engine, or DmC 1, 2, and 3 in the new DmC engine.

Can't think of one. A remake frenzy would be a waste of time and potential. Port the games over, but that's it.

Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire. But I want them to expand the screen so that you'll be able to see at least double what you saw on the gba screen when walking around. Third generation had the best looking overworld by far, would love to play through it again being able to see a bunch of it at once.

Wow! I thought I was the only one who loved this game. It would be great to see it rereleased in some format.

F all that. Find a way to make a sequel to Blast Corps. Wave Race, as well.

With GBA games coming soon to virtual console on Wii U, and Gamecube remakes on the horizon, which ones do you want to see?

I'd love to replay Golden Sun 1 and 2 for GBA again, and would like to see a Super Mario Sunshine remake.

You?

SonyNintendoFan

I came in here to say Golden sun. That was an amazing game (I never got around to playing the second one though:( )

As for gamecube remakes, not too sure really. Maybe some of the rpgs like Baten Kaitos, Skies of Arcadia or Tales of symphonia. Also the Zelda games.

I would want Nintendo to start remaking Mario RPG. But then have an epiphany early into development and decide to make a different game with a very similar structure. And that game is Zelda RPG.

Sorry for the stretch, I've always wanted this game and I know it'll never happen.

GBA:

-Golden Sun series

GameCube:

-Beyond Good & Evil (Hey, the Xbox and PS3 have HD re-releases, so why not the Wii-U as well?)

-F-Zero GX

The way I thought was command your Units with the Gamepad screen and then the player unit is controlled as a TPS with that view on the TV.
