With GBA games coming soon to virtual console on Wii U, and Gamecube remakes on the horizon, which ones do you want to see?
I'd love to replay Golden Sun 1 and 2 for GBA again, and would like to see a Super Mario Sunshine remake.
You?

Would they do no other GC remakes and just do straight ports to the Wii U Estore.
Spend the time and money doing other things, please.
Golden Sun 1 and 2. But take out that stupid code you need for all the stuff you got in #1 to transfer into #2.
The Wii-U version should have both games combined into one game and to automatically transfer everything from 1 into 2 without the dumb VERY long code that sometimes doesn't even work. If they had it like this, I would surely be interested in buying a Wii-U. Make the graphics clearer to project on HDTV's too. This RPG is easily the GBA's best and should have those enhancements.
Other games = Breath of Fire 1-3 (please HD remakes tho), Fire Emlem, Zelda: A Link to the Past + 4 Swords (include online/offline options for 4 swords), Legacy of Goku 2 & 3, Zelda: The Minish Cap.
From the GBA: Metroid Fusion, Metroid Zero Mission and Golden Sun.
From the GC: Eternal Darkness, RE 4, RE 0, Cel Damage and Rogue Squadron 3.
Melee HD, maybe with a few new character and stage additions (hell there was supposed to be a fire emblem stage that I believe was found in the code; use that).
It will never happen, but I'm sure many orgasms would be had if it were to by some miracle.
I'd like to see the Battle Network games and Megaman Zero games get some lovin on the Wii-U.
Golden Sun games.
Castlevania Circle of the Moon.
Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis
Can't think of anymore at the moment.
GBA
GC
I'm still trying to figure out why the GBA games are going to the Wii U rather than the 3DS. The 3DS Virtual Console could really use the GBA games, and they seem to fit much better on a handheld console. Rather than wasting resources on porting GBA games to the Wii U, Nintendo could get Gamecube games on there along with the N64 and SNES games that never made it onto the Wii's VC like Yoshi's Island and Donkey Kong 64.
Just seems like an odd move on Nintendo's part, especially given the issues that the 3DS VC has had over the past year.
agreed, I would much rather see GBA games going to the 3ds I'm guessing that Nintendo feels the Wii U needs every advantage it can get right now, and the 3ds will have nearly the entire handheld market anyway, so bringing GBA games to the Wii U is more logical from a business standpoint.I'm still trying to figure out why the GBA games are going to the Wii U rather than the 3DS. caryslan2
Luigi's Mansion
Star Wars Rogue Squadron II
Super Mario Sunshine (a remake of this would be awesome)
Paper Mario TTYD
Beyond Good and Evil
Pikmin 1 and 2
Resident Evil 0 and REmake
Skies of Arcadia Legends
I woulld just like to see them on the Eshop, and use the manpower to make new games as opposed to remaking these.
No GBA games, put them on 3DS. I can't imagine these games all stretched out to fit on my tv. If I'm playing on the gamepad, then I may as well be playing them on my 3DS.
[QUOTE="Timstuff"]I want to see a remake of that really cool game that never came out.delta3074Starcraft ghost? you know what? this is a brilliant idea. i'd love to see an RTS (specifically starcraft. me gusta starcraft) with that controller starcraft it is.
harvest moon; friends of mineral town
advanced wars: 1 & 2
golden sun 1 & 2
final fantasy: tactics advanced
lost vikings
demikids
those games get on the wii-u's DD store and ill go out today and get one i swear to jebus. the rest of the wii-u's lineup could be bollocks consisting of overhyped dung and wiiboo games and i could have all i needed for the next millenium right there. while were at it:
import the following GBC games to it:
survival kids
robopon sun & star version
I only had 3 GBA games ever so I would say all of them. For GCN remakes I would like Geist since it might reach it's full potential in HD with stable framerate and a better controller for FPS.
Since Nintendo have been milking franchises and doing remakes for so long we are now asking which ones we want next?
I feel really bad for Wii / Wii U only gamers.
I want to see Nintendo release every Nintendo game ever made for their virtual console.
I don't really care to just see a handful of exclusive, remade games available only for the Wii U. I want to see 30 years of Nintendo backwards compatibility.

Preferably I don't want any remakes but if they're being made anyway, I'd like to see Advance Wars, as well as Star Fox Assault and Rebel Strike with online multiplayer and better on-foot controls.
If Wind Waker is any indication of other possible GC remakes, they need to not touch anything else. It looks hideous.
On the Wii U virtual console, I just want Luigi's mansion and super Mario sunshine, and TTYD.

I just want these games available for the Wii U. The only remake from that are I would like to see are the Rogue Squadron games.
if we don't get a new F-zero, a remake of GX would do.BrunoBRS
This.
F-Z GX is already perfect as it is but it could be even more perfect than it is with a HD facelift, online play and track/vehicle editor...
edit: oh, and a remixed soundtrack would be nice too. (with a more "rock" vibe instead of more "techno" vibe)
Advance Wars. Nintendo are sitting on an amazing turn based strategy game and they're just not doing enough with it.
I want to see a proper home console version of the turn based game.
they're just sitting on it because they have Fire Emblem, a better TBS game :PAdvance Wars. Nintendo are sitting on an amazing turn based strategy game and they're just not doing enough with it.

I'd love to see an Advance Wars with some great online functionality, and multiplayer.
That could definitely be an awesome game on the Wii U (and 3DS as well), but both system features a touch pad now so chya.
[QUOTE="HalcyonScarlet"]they're just sitting on it because they have Fire Emblem, a better TBS game :P Ehhhh, not really. Advance Wars is technically better, because it's more flexible than Fire Emblem, which is always bound by narrative parameters. Anyway, I think Advance Wars is done, it's not gonna get a 3DS game.Advance Wars. Nintendo are sitting on an amazing turn based strategy game and they're just not doing enough with it.

I think GBA and GC is the cut off line, I don't need a remake at this point, perfectly playable games with more than acceptable graphics.
Super Mario Sunshine
kraken2109
I'm curious about this one, considering WiiU lacks analog shoulder pads.

That's true.
Battalion Wars was interesting but when it comes to "pure" gameplay, Advance Wars always had the edge over it.
But Nintendo is not exactly the company that give the fans exactly what they want.
This may be good or bad, depending on the angle of perspective.
The good part is, that the "fanbase" has so diverse viewpoints and wishes that if they obeyed them all they would produce a "cluster****" of confusion noone would like. (except for the odd few)
The bad part is, they may stray off too far from what the fanbase wishes, not really pleasing anyone again.
So they're not exactly in an grateful position when the expectations are so big and diverse but there is only so much manpower and resources to try to satisfy all. (note that "satisfying everyone" is just an imaginary illusion as we all have different tastes and desires)
