That's like saying the future of gaming all Sony because it has 3 exclusives that have won GOTY here on GS.

Well, handheld gaming certainly had an incredible year in 2013 (thanks, 3DS!).

I can only hope this continues into 2014. Right now, the lineups for both the handhelds for this year are looking a bit barren.

I don't know about being the future, but it sure was good seeing a handheld GotY here and seeing 3DS games taking prizes elsewhere.

I'm glad to see handheld games getting some credit. Especially when many of them are better than their console counterparts.

I mean.. i know everyone has their taste.. but saying Fire Emblem > Xcom is just strange..... i'm assuming is just the difficulty more than anything else that could possibly be.

Why is it strange, exactly, if Fire Emblem is the better game?

Easier. They do play very similar, except xcom is deeper and provides more options. For a strategy game i would assume that would be best... but what do i know?

I don't know about you, but I don't have time to go check every site and see what they had listed. However I know that Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon and Zelda is on a lot of lists.
