OK, so, yesterday I was looking for something in a wardrobe and I came across my old PS and Sega. Then I saw some of the old games that I used to love and thought "wow, I haven't heard about these games in years" so it got me thinking, what games did you love that everyone has now forgotten about?Bubsy was multiplat.
I can list 2: Bubsy, this old, kind of silly, platformer for Sega which I used to love when I was a child, and Hogs of War, this awesome MP PS1 game, kind of like worms, although severely overrated and overlooked, but so much more fun.
Here's pics for those who have no idea what I'm on about:

That actually was one of the games I was more dissapointed with. Specially considering how mind-bending the SNES game was on it's time.Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon (N64)
First, the giant mech battles were pretty good. It had a great soundtrack of Japanese songs ad some translation that didn't make sense. The game was pretty funny really, especially the added laughter. It's like on a television show, but even more fake...it was a decent platformer in any case, though it was a little short. :D

Of course. But probably most people remember Shining Force II.Anybody remember Shining Force for the Genesis? Love that game.

Once again, one of my favorite N64 games gets completely ignored, this time in a topic about ignored games...
I was gonna mention Gex, Glover, and Jazz Jackrabbit too but apparently some people already listed those so I'm not gonna bother.
Here's another one too:
Granted, games get ignored when they're on systems that died early, but still.

Questoin for Panzer. I played Shining Force I and II for Genesis and Shining Force III for Saturn. But I heard that there was a chapter 2 and 3 for Shining Force III that never made it out of Japan. Is that true?Blackbond
Age of Mythology.
The way you could make your base with all kinds of buildings and Walls was HUGE for the time. Also loved the Myth Units.
B.O.B.
It was a great Contra-Esque platformer, but kid friendly.

Space Invaders.
An iconic game that was the first to have enemies shoot back.
My Dad was the Euro Champ at this game.

Better than Defender. Was such a great game that the screen was 3 cabinets bolted together to form one picture. Kick ass...

I'm pretty sure that was a PC and a PS1 game. Played both versions :D
Maybe because that version sucked big time. The SNES version didn't had 2 player, which basically ruined the game. Also I think you couldn't even select Guy, but I don't remember well. One of the greatest game that has been forgotten.
Final Fight (SNES)

Guy was in the original Final Fight, not the SNES version.
but still I had fun with it. btw I always select Mike Haggar.
This has been a great thread with lots of cool box art shots. Great work people. I guess someone listed the sequel but the original LANDSTALKER for Genesis was a great game. I'd like to see a sequel to ZERO TOLERANCE for the Genesis just because it was a very innovative FPS for consoles. if anybody has shots of those boxes please post them!JiveTYeah, I listed Dark Savior. I think it's more forgotten than Landstalker.
Mario is MissingBaird-06They all deserve to be forgotten, but I'll be darned if I'll let the Nintendo fanboys forget Mario is Missing, a tripe 4-hour game with no replay value that wasn't particularly fun to begin with that alone disproves the assertion, "Mario games are always great".
Streets of Rage, Final Fight, Golden Axe, Rival Schools... but the 1st one is the one i miss the most :(None of those except maybe Rival Schools are truly forgotten, the others still have sizable loyal followings though Final Fight's in probably smaller than the others.

GloverMoldOnHoldIt was unique but not particularly good, I should know..I own it.
The original Jet Grind Radio for Dreamcast. I picked it up in a bargain bin thinking it might entertain me for a while, got home and played it and it changed my life.flclisfunOne of the biggest Dreamcast classics, how could you say it is forgotten? Own it.
Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose games i loved playing as a kidBuster on the Loose is still fun. :| Own it.

Here's another one too:Power Stone? The jest doth not stand! [QUOTE="Benihana7"]Zombies Ate My Neighbors ....though I'm pretty sure some old SNES/Genesis fans will remember it's ownage. The ownage in that one is strong. Still own it in fact.Power Stone

Goof TroopMJPilgrimGood one, I actually own it and its a decent game as well.
This is also a little amazing game that passed by the Playstation pretty much unnoticed. But it's worth playing for MegaMan and non MegaMan fans alike.I had considered getting it but just couldn't bring myself to, I do love the two Megaman Legends games though (1 more than 2).
