Gabe Newell personally answers questions regarding paid mods

So while he is very eloquent in his responses, he is dodging many of the real hard hitter questions... It seems that there is currently zero signs of Valve backing down.

My question is: If they persist, will it really work? Will this system pay off in the long run, or will this be the fall of the Valve we once knew?

He writes a lot but doesn't really say anything.

By giving non-answers he's hoping this whole thing blows over in a week and people forget about it. He's probably right too, perfect time for Steam to announce a sale or promote their shitty new controller.

The guy is smart, i don't think it'll do anything to Valve.

He's been avoiding giving answers to questions and diverting since the original Half-Life came out, he's extremely proficient at it.

Interestingly we never got any real answers.

Remember when people worshiped this guy? I always thought he was just another corporate suit and it seems I'm right.

I don't think anyone worshipped him it was the whole Half Life thing that everyone worshipped but I know what you mean. He's showing his true colours now.

How about giving modders a decent percentage of the money you greedy fat bastard?
