Don't know about gameplay, but in the graphics department GT 5 will obliterate Forza 2.

I'd have to say that Forza is coming along quite nicely...:)

GT5= 08. Forza 2=07. Forza 2 gameplay shown, and doesn't look better than a GT demo. GT5= nothing shown, but will look better than the GT demo. Both online. Verdict- TIE.Adrian_Cloud

Forza >> GT4 (Gamespot agrees)

so, Forza2 >> GT5

Forza is the reigning console sim champ.

I'm going with Forza 2. Forza 1 had AI that made every race feel like an actual race against opponents that wanted to win the race. So far the GT series has always had on-rails AI. Your only real opponents in GT games was yourself.

The cars in GT drove better imo, but as a racing game it was no fun at all thanks to the stupid AI.

They could change that in GT5 but the GT series has a lot of catching up to do just to catch up with Forza 1.

So I'm going with Forza 2. GT5 wil look great graphically no doubt. But the lack of rumble in the controller and history of bad AI make me worry about how good it wil actually be.

But GT3 and GT4 are different than the examples you mentioned because they are almost identically the same except with more tracks and cars. That's it. Plus GT has no online so it sucks.

For the guy who said lemmings don't want to type.

Forza wins for Real custimization in both appearance and handling.  It has better gameplay and of course the much noted damage physics.  It also has established online play on the system with the best online OS. 

The one thing you can argue for for GT is that the cars look a little bit better but to me they look boring.  I don't mind the "cartoony"  / "arcadish" graphics in forza because they still look great and aren't as dull as GT graphics.  + the enviroments in forza look much better.

So better gameplay + custimization + online play >  better car models.   FORZA the king of racers 2 > GT 5.

They should use real photos for the scenery textures in Froza. This is what gives GT the edge with relistic tones. The reality is that Froza is and will be more technically advanced, but the art direction is a poorer choice looking more synthetic. FrizFrizby3

Please tell me you aren't talking about the 2D wallpaper backrounds in GT being better than the enviroments in forza?  Please.

You do know that SW used to be overrun with Sony fans?  I wonder what happened to them all?  Embarrassed?  Dissappointed?  Who knows?

All I do know is that there are more Xbox fans then their used to be and there are less Sony fans then there used to be.  I think that is a reflection upon the current gaming situation.  Just as the Sony fan domination during the last generation was a relection upon that time.

And don't say the Sony fans are too busy playing the PS3...  we all know which console has the most quality games at this point in time.
