Forza Horizon 2 vs Mario Kart 8 - who wins?

I gotta go with Horizon 2. Fun game with awesome graphics and feel good music. It also makes me feel like a young dashing lad in a sweet sports car with all these random models bopping their heads like they're having a good time. Mario Kart 8 is too slow for me and the game has barely changed over the years. Just shinier graphics. Also, the gamepad is underutilized. And it makes me think of my nieces and nephews, not cute 20 year old girls. What about you, SW?

Mario Kart 8. Faster, more intense gameplay.

Forza Horizon 2. Mario Kart is garbage.

Mario Kart 8, and Ive spent more time on FH2 so far.

With that being said they are COMPLETELY different racers.

Also, in MY OPINION, the music on FH2 sucks. The only station I can listen to is the Italian one with the classical music. Racing with that is pretty awesome.

What did you want from the gamepad in MK8?

Both games suffered the dreaded FLOP, so a tie.

Wouldn't DriveClub be a closer comparison?

Forza Horizon=actual good racer that comes down to your understanding of the gameplay systems (tuning up the car) and your ability to drive and hit your marks

Mario Kart=win the fucking item lottery while hitting your marks

Shit is laughable to pretend Kart is a good racer. Fun? sure, plenty of fun in mp because of pure chaos and ridiculousness to it all, but as a game? it's outclassed by something genuinely more balanced and with some actual depth to the driving: Forza or you know any actual racing game.

Horizon is open world, even though it's more arcadey than Forza 5 it's still a sim. Mario Kart is an arcade racer. It's kinda hard comparing the two seing how different they are
