Another crappy shooter in the series . Better games have been canceled and never came out . Please more of those games and less of this crap .
let me guess this is their best call of duty to date? **** off already with this bs modern theme, its getting annoying 4realz
Did anyone else notice this:
But then again, why should they provide nice graphics when millions of people buy it no matter what.
What a surprise, another lazy COD. Crysis 1 has better looking character models and that game is 7(!) years old.
Welcome to 2007 Call of Duty
This leak is slightly on the nose isn't it?!
ah classic
your humour nose no bounds
its kinda sad that 7 years old game still looks better than most games these days. show how consoles are holding us back. this 7 year old was on only graphics king but gameplay king too when it was out
i really hope ID soft will take full PC advantage on Doom 4.
No it doesn't. COD wouldn't look better if it was PC exclusive either.
This only shows one thing: it shows that the devs put little effort into each new COD, and they don't even have to, because millions of people buy it anyway.
If COD fans were a little more demanding perhaps the devs would work on making the game look better than one from 7 years ago, but now they don't.
Are hermits seriously inspecting a chin-strap?
Why wouldn't they? It's actually a fairly large part of the SINGLE picture they decided to release...so yeah... seem fair to judge all it's atributes, be they good or bad.
In that sense yeah, I still can't help but get a chuckle out of it, lol.

if COD were PC exclusive. it would not release yearly. and we wouldnot have 10 COD games as of now.
it would have years development cycle. and we would be waiting for COD5 to come out and take decent PC advantage. it would have lean and peak, no regen health like COD1 and UO.
Ahhhh lean and peak.... health kits...
But nah, seriously, it's not the consoles that did this to CoD, it was the mass market and Halo that did this to CoD, the platform(s) it's on is irrelevant.
Are you hyped for Wolfenstein Sniper? No regen health, sneaky peaks, and all the weapons you want.

Darn it, I'm late to the party. Snot fair :(
I smell fishy AI.
Hmm, well the dynamic fish AI did make a lot of scents I suppose.

Yep, that's my point. Its popularity kills any creativity and its not a good thing for the graphics either.
I'm very hyped for Wolfenstein: The New Order. Looks like pure fun !
If this is a new engine then I hope it still has Dynamic Fish A.I.
This is a must.
New engine? Isn't that what they said the last time ?
Meanwhile they are still updating the old Quake 3 engine, lmao
It was more like a last gen engine with some updates. The damn player animation is still the same and is starting to look aged. I will continue the boycott until they debut a full blown next gen engine.
Its kinda like Madden. Paying $60 for a roster update.

Who you calling a hermit readingrainbow ? :p
And yeah, it takes up about 10% of the screenshot they decided to release to show off their 'advanced super dooper engine'
and there is also the fact that everything around the chin strap looks low res too
and there is also the fact that the character model hardly beats that of a 7 years old game.
So color me not impressed.

The last Fifa on PS4 and XBone didn't look that impressive either.
I wouldn't mind COD/FIFA/Madden skipping a year to work on their engine and assets to deliver a nicer looking game. It would be better than them boasting about 'their new engine' 'fish AI' or 'sunrays' which don't look impressive and makes them come over as, well, kind of silly.
But of course they won't do that because so many people want a new one each year.

Agreed.
Wolfenstein looks like it is the perfect blend of new and old shooters; but I bet it will receive low scores from critics for not being mainstream enough. The journalism is as much at fault as the popularity.
I won't be buying Call of Duty this year, next year Treyarch's zombies map better kick ass, they get an extra year to work on their game.

Indeed it is. COD games are the same each and every year, and yet they always get high scores. Meanwhile other games get lower scores if they just offer more of the same.
http://www.gamespot.com/call-of-duty-ghosts/ = an 8 for COD Ghosts
http://www.gamespot.com/shadow-warrior/ = a 7 for Shadow Warrior
A game comes a long with the name of Shadow Warrior and its just a great return to old school FPS (Shadow Warrior but also Painkiller) yet gamespot scored it lower than COD: Ghosts.
I couldn't care less though, for me Shadow Warrior was the best FPS of last year, by far. And Gunslinger was also great :D

The Call of Duty Ghosts review was beyond a joke, especially here on GS. Ghosts was possibly the worst shooter I have played for the last 2 or 3 years, I would have struggled to score it more than 5 personally.
But yeah, it's a good job we can still buy and enjoy games with low review scores (that are often arguably better as you say); it just becomes a problem when review scores affect sales... and sales affect future developments. Sigh.

Hahaha, we have the exact same thought.
I try not to care about review scores, as I've had so much fun with games that have scored a 7 and less.
But I also know that sometimes review scores can affect sales, and then it becomes problematic indeed.
COD Ghosts was also said to have a next gen engine, and yet it didn't look special and it didn't ran spectacularly well on any system, yet I doubt the game was rated down for that. And now this new COD is going to bring a 'next gen engine' yeah, sure, hahahaha

Yup, it scares me that they got away with calling it a new next gen engine when it looked so appalling. How long before it becomes the norm to rehash all games in all aspects?
