Fire Emblem Heroes - Choose your Heroes Event!

The time is now!

With the release of Fire Emblem Heroes for Android and Iphone coming February 2, 2017, Nintendo has started an event to choose your Heroes. And its exactly as it sounds. Each date, youll get to pick a new Hero you want to add to the game. Also linking your My Nintendo account to the event will grant you 200 Platinum Coins. The dates are as follows,

Lots of characters to choose from, so it can be overwhelming. But no worries, just select your favs from your favorite games. I decided to choose by title, that way i could easily select through them all. A February wallpaper for phones will be coming soon too, so have no fear. Which Heroes are you selecting though System Warriors? Do tell.

@charizard1605: Dunno, It definitely looks to be in the upper tier, but even then, there are gems on that platform that will most likely end up outclassing it. Let's not overlook all the legit shit on the phone.

For example. Sorcery! Is easily the king of C&C as far as any contemporary game is concerned. Absolutely decimating Visual Novels and wRPGs alike in that regard.

Heroes would not be well recieved on a traditoinal handheld. Everything about it looks like it belongs on the phone perfectly. Down to the extremely limited scale making it perfect for the phone.

Picking characters from the Jugdral games. Will probably pick a few Tellius characters as well.

Pink haired dude from RD better be available.

Lucina was probably the only good thing to come out of Awakening.

Because that mission and level design sure as hell was terrible.

Voted for Alvis, Finn and Hector.

Edit: Will vote for Ephraim and Celice as well... oh and Raven too.

What the heck? Why is Donnel so high in the rankings? Volke, Saizo and Cormag are much more fitting. Also Lonqu' is really generic.

Probably because he was the obligatory villager of Awakening. Awakening is still likely the most popular Fire Emblem game. For many people who kept Donnel and trainer him up, he's probably their stronger unit.

@jumpaction: That fella always died on my lunatic runs. Not worth the big investment IMO.

On easier difficulties, which I'd say most newcomers to the series (including myself) played, Donnel is pretty easy to keep around and becomes the powerhouse when you do.

Wait Im confused... the game comes out in February, but you have to download now to pick heros? How does this work exactly ? Is this just a vote system to see who they will include at release

@enzyme36: Its a vote to see who will be featured prominently in the game (campaign maybe?) along with an addition unit of that character with a redesign. I assume all the characters are going to be in regardless of the poll results

@aigis: Ahh understood, thanks. Just wanted to make sure I am not missing out on anything in-game if I dont select something during the event. Thought it was like a pre-order type of bonus.

It's cool they already start events like this before releasing the game in all countries. I hope there is no competitive mp aspect in the game

Game has released and I am not even sure there is a single character or representation from several games including

FE2, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10.

Pretty disappointing, considering how those were some of the strongest entires in the francihse.

I want to play this but absolutely hate free to play games.
