There's not enough info about P5 and Bloodborne doesn't hold these aesthetics even though it is a JRPG.

They look rather similar. May someone correct me? X is done by ex Final Fantasy members? Or who is where now?

As for the games X looks great. Most definitely going to get that asap.

Final Fantasy I may hold off on. These games always have stellar art direction--a lot of people got duped by 13, which was a really gorgeous game from almost any perspective. Personally I liked the more traditional FF look.

Xenoblade Chronicles X all the way..why? their previous game Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii) was great. The same can't be said for Final Fantasy XV. :P

I don't know exactly, but Monolith Soft was under Squaresoft with Xenogears, and Namco with Xenosaga.

Nintendo owns 98% of Monolith Soft.

I wrote off Final Fantasy a long time ago. Although the new game looks beautiful, I have no reason to get it.

Yes. Monolith employs many ex developers who worked on games from the Final Fantasy and Chrono series.

X is the sequel to one of the better games last year. There has not been a good single player Final Fantasy for 8 years, and 15 uses real time combat. FFXV is going to be terrible. This is no contest.

Doesn't Xenoblade use real-time combat too?

It's real time, but it's also stats-based and has an element of strategy to it. Isn't FF15 using the Kingdom Hearts approach to combat? I honestly wasn't a huge fan of the Xenoblade combat, either, but the game managed to be fun enough to overcome it. I wouldn't be all that surprised if X ends up being a huge disappointment for me.

How can you not understand? One has shown actual gameplay while the other is a glorified trailer. Not only that but the last few FF games haven't been much game. It is as if the only talented people on that team is the art department.

just watch this crap, all he does is walk around and press a button to shoot the gun. not impressed, ff15 showed more diversity in the 15second of gameplay and this does in 30min

Definitely excited for both. Hard to choose as I have yet to finish Xenoblade Chronicles and I'm still sour about the development cycle of FFXV. :P

But with this game we've been told that it is very open. Details on FF are scarce. That is what I mean. It is easy to fake a trailer. I'm not saying it is impossible that FF turns out to be the better game, simply that I can understand why people might prefer this one at the moment.

Anyone who is not easily bought by pretty visuals..FF13 anyone. I'll believe it when I see it so to say..right now FF15 is just blowing fart. :P

FF XV looks like it's somewhere between KH and FF XII in terms of mechanics. I know XIII burned me, but I really want it to be amazing! I grew up on FF damnit!

FFXV looks good but I just cannot stand the characters. I really hate them just like FFXIII before it.
Also, Mech + flying is way better than a car.

Type-0 is gonna kick the s**t out of both. Lol. But seriously, Square Enix's current track record is iffy, so if I had to bet money, I'd go with Chronicles X.

Xenoblade is one of those games you have to play to understand. It opens up a lot once you start unlocking more abilities and work on your team and your strategy. Just that 30mins of X though show that there is a huge amount of directions they can take the combat in. There are still many questions to be answered though. That said, based off of the original Xenoblade I very much have faith this will turn out well.

Thats not Final Fantasy. Thats a game about a boys band that decided to go on a road trip after a modeling gig at Nomura's recluse cottage.

X looks like a ps2 game in comparison. Not interested in either tho.

FFXV looks like the better game, but what good is a game that's perpetually in development versus a game that'll probably see the light of day in the relatively near future.

On subject I gotta go with X. Monolith has already proven they can handle this with the first Xenoblade. A fantastic game. All Square has proven is that Final Fantasy fell to ruin after Sakaguchi left. I'll trust Monolith Soft before I trust Square again.

I'm more hyped for X, but I can't help but get excited for XV... Thank God we're actually seeing consistent updates.

The successor of the arguably best JRPG of last gen.

Obviously XV has better visuals. The combat looks interesting, but I'm still more excited for X. Using a luxury car to get around is just weird. It just doesn't "fit in" with all those monsters.

And this is one of the reasons why I'm excited for X

idk....i never played a FF game..only the 1st one on NES...and it will stay that way it seems.

Plus the creator of chronicles is what made ff good.
