Final Fantasy VII PC releasing on PS4 October 9th

Square Enix has announced that the PC port of Final Fantasy VII will be releasing on PS4 in North America and Europe on October 16th, 2015 for $16.99/£12.99/€15.99.

This FF7 HD port was announced in 2014 before the recent FF7 remake announcement days ago.

This has nothing to do with Sony, this is just a scheduled FF7 port game made by SE releasing that was announced in 2014. It's been coming.

There will be confusion, but that's on SquareEnix for announcing the two products based on the same game.

Sad it got delayed. Been really waiting to dig into the game again. Want to play it again before the remake comes out. Thankfully, I am pretty sure the remake will release in 2017 so I will have plenty of time!

What are they thinking?! There's the PS1 version, PC version and a remake. They're just going to over-saturate the store and confuse people. And the PC port is horrible, just stick with PS1 classic! Jeez is it fucking rocket science?!

Anyone who thinks is going to be a 100% remake is going to be disappointed, personally i rather have re-imagining with some content cut from the original and more straigth to the point.

The Final Fantasy Remake will be my very first time experiencing FF7.
