Final Fantasy 13 vs. Final Fantasy 7 Remake

So for the whole whopping day I've been on these boards (caught the stream here and said what the heck, I'll go on the forums) I've already seen some hopes that FF7 would be remade for the Ps3.

So I'm curious: Would you guys rather get FF13 or a FF7 remake?

My opinion: FF13 by far. As much as I loved FF7, I've already, you know, played it. They really will probably just upgrade the graphics and to be honest, it was designed for the Ps1. Would Cloud, the way Advent CHildren rendered him, be appropriate in the festival with Aeris? I don't think so. But more so than that, I'd rather for a new game, new story, and something that has the possibility to be just as good that I, again, haven't already played. And besides that FF13 looks amazing. And it holds many similarities to FF7 (cloud- lighting, train start, art style, etc.)

What's with all this FF7 remake business everyone is talking about? There is zero proof of this and SE has said no to it every time yet people are talking about it.

Have I missed something?

as the years have gone by ive not had the patience for jrpgs but i would love every second if i got to play through ff7 again in hd. ahh so many memorys

Well understand, I'm just saying which you'd rather have.

In reality, whose to say that FF7 wouldn't end up on the 360 too? There's nothing against it and in case you didn't notice, SE is backing the 360 much more than the Ps3 recently.

Obviously an apple +orange > orange. And don't forget- these are just a couple of fruits in the basket. I here there's tons (rumors are that kiwis exist!)

Well they were PSP fanboys so i'm guessing they weren't hermits. That's actually doubly funny considering most PSP games are ports or remakes :lol:
